Jesus. And I'm over here in Texas surrounded by crappy dealerships that do not want to budge below $21,900 OTD. At this rate, I'm going to have to wait until the new models come out. :(
It's lingo. A lot of dealerships do this because they want to try and pressure you into a purchase since they believe "Well, since you traveled 45 minutes away from home to get here... You might as well purchase this vehicle!" If your mileage is like mine, you're going to be told a number that...
Mileage may vary. For me, they refused to work with me after I told them that I was going to be paying in full cash. Funny enough, Terry was the person who I spoke to online. But as soon as I got to their floor (after they refused to give me an OTD quote for my vehicle), Terry pushed me to some...
They don't, but Manny in particular understood when I said that I do not want to pay for accessories. At the time, he was offering me an incoming EX with Honda Sensing for $22,000 OTD since it would not have accessories. I refused and he did not keep persisting afterwords. He later informed me...
Oh god... Honda of Denton is horrible, too! That's the one I went to two weeks ago. The salesman, Xriston, did not smile and was really rude. When I walked out on their deal, Xriston begged me to buy their vehicle for $22,000 OTD. After I refused, he threw his pen across the lot all angrily. And...
Took my quote of $21,900 OTD on an EX w/Honda Sensing from Lufkin, TX to AutoNation Honda in Lewisville last Friday. The manager, William, said he would match it (all in e-mail conversation). With all the excitement, I couldn't sleep Friday night. Stayed up, arrived at the dealership at...
I think $25,000 OTD isn't crazy. Anything lower is possible, but not at the moment imo. Keep in mind that they can go back on their word since they just negotiated orally. A Retail Buyers Order has more credibility than a salesman's word.
LOL. Yeah... Diamond in the rough lol. I read your other post, btw! If you need help on trying to get a deal with a dealership, I'm not sure which one you're going to or how much help I'm gonna be... But I'm down to help you out! PM me!
I understand that. However, considering that my lowest quote at the moment for an EX Sedan with Honda Sensing is $21,900, I'm sure that eventually it'll just get lower without the need to finance. I just find financing a waste of my time since credit-wise... I'm a ghost. I'm not about to accept...
There is a user on these boards from San Antonio that got an EX-T for $21,500 OTD. I've asked him quite a while ago to help me out with a Buyers Order, but my request went ignored. If an EX-T sold for $21,500... I'm reeeeeeeally sure you can get it down to that price soon. Give it about a month...
