Hi Guys,
I'm not on here a lot but I have an issue with my car that makes no sense to me.
It's a 2019 Type R (duh), with a Mishimoto cold air intake and a Borla Attak Catback exhaust. Got her new (imported from Canada). She's had the intake and exhaust on for the past 45,000 km with no issues...
Not quite today (been on holiday), but had her featured in the only English motoring magazine for the region.

Guys from the UAE ST club were bragging about their Stage upgrades, and suggested that a CTR Stage 1 was two lawnmower engines duct taped together...
I showed them...
So I only pop onto this forum occasionally...
Just my luck to decide to go through this thread...
You guys (meaning the ) have/had a soapy that starts with “like the sand through an hourglass, these are the days of our lives...”. The bickering has given me a good laugh - and I have not read...
Have you guys considered that with the amount spent on aftermarket bits, you could at some point have upgraded to a Type R?
I recently did the same with a Focus ST. Paid around $22k for it, and proceded to make it look as close as possible to the 2015 FSWerks SEMA show car. Once all was said...
Yeah. There are guys out here, but finding one I can trust is the hard part. I imagined I would buy the Hondata version of the access port with the tunes on it. But it still needs unlocking.
There’s a company in the UK called PumaSpeed, but they’re mostly Ford. They’ve opened a branch here and...
That I understand, but no one in the United Arab Emirates does that. And I'm not going to risk sending my ECU from the Middle East to the US, and back - this car is my daily driver. I can't afford that downtime.
Guys,
I need some help/advice
The Type R is not officially in the UAE, so my car is a "grey" product in most senses of the word.
I've just ordered a Borla Atak catback exhaust system, and the Mishimoto Air intake. I will fit them as soon as they arrive.
I'm expecting to see minor gains (but...
in order, with a few pics of the final few at the end (and not mentioning my wife's cars).

It's public, and yes, 2 lanes all the way up. Cyclists are all over it at sunrise, but was quiet because the temp was already hitting 40 C. (At 9 in the morning). Also it was still Ramadan, so the locals were all resting. There are 4 or 5 really good roads out here in the UAE, all without cameras.
