I'll claim the record for now - b. January, 1939. First Honda - the Si hatch in 1990 and my latest, the 2019 Sport Touring hatch not long after my 80th birthday. My trade-in was a 2001 Corvette Z51 6-speed Targa. I have socks older than most of you kids! ;)

Just did a tour from Indiana to Virginia over the Alleghany in my new Hatch and used LKAS (my grandson says it stands for 'lickety split') a lot. I even tried letting it come to a complete halt. I wondered, though, when do the brake lights come on?

Since I only have 1000 miles, I'll give it a little more time, then off to the dealer. i thought it might be a known characteristic of the combination.

Every time in my first 1000 miles. Not a big surge, but definitely noticeable.

2019 Hatch Sport Touring - My first turbo and first CVT - when I am pulling into the garage, I get a noticeable surge. I don't notice it any other time. Any thoughts? Thanks.

Got it! Thanks to all. If that info is in the manual, I couldn't find it. Glad to hear that the HVAC does cycle the Recirc in Auto, I haven't seen the Recirc turn off yet.
