Mine went at low miles but to be honest I expected it. This is my 3rd or 4th honda and they are great cars but the brakes always warp under my foot. The cars can be fun to toss around and getting on the brakes hard into corners and on ramps from freeway speed (autocross style) is hard on them...
DC nailed me while traveling there for my mother last year. The speed cameras are brutal. Hundreds of dollars trying to navigate that traffic quickly but much slower top speeds than I reach going to work in PA. I saw a guy with a Hellcat there (DC plates) and I was like.....why? I understand...
Add ons are not a good investment, they are there to make the dealer money. If you can afford the car, you can afford a new tire if you needed it. Research the paint protection, it can always be done outside of the dealer at higher quality and for less money imo. As mentioned it must be...
I had a Borla on my RCF and it was LOUD. Too loud in the end for me. The upper range made a beautiful sound and the downshift was to die for but the cold start was aggressive in the early morning and the low rev range was plain too loud. Want to pass a Prius? Sounds like you are bullying the...
Isn't the new design to add the "fingers" inside of it that hold/grip smaller cups? It looks the same depth but I've not seen one in real life like you. I agree that the original design gets in the way and has me using either smaller travel cups or putting my water in the door pocket.
Stinger is quite impressive and has a longer warranty (10 year powertrain for when your oil mixes with your gas....), more power, better interior, I could go on. Main issue is it is much bigger and heavier and thus will drive so. But I've always tried to appreciate all cars and each individual...
Agree on both counts, FWD should not be better for handling. However, there are occasions where great results are accomplished with the platform. And comparing a challenger to say a VW GTI......well I know which one I think feels better in the handling dept. And yes, that is because of weight...
Yes. One or two things went wrong but it ran for a very long time and overall just took tires, gas, oil. It will rust out from under you before it stops running *true story*
26,000 miles, mine look terrible. The fronts had to be replaced and the shop was having some trouble sourcing the rears. Most part numbers were wrong. The fronts were replaced with Akebonos which were the stock BBK on my G37s. That original set of rotors lasted almost 100k miles, and believe...
Well - my other car is an RC-F. Much faster and more powerful than the Si but again, the Si is cleaner in the corners. It has a great chassis. I've been .....debating..... the RC-F guys on the concept of feel and its easier to manage the Si in the turns. Lots of mass and a big V8 out in the...
It's not that it's faster through the corner, it just feels cleaner and better. The Subaru feels like it's kicking and bucking going into the turn but ultimately you know it is going stick. The Si has more composure. Miata vs muscle car to make a crude comparison.
I've owned the WRX and a couple Si. My take and reason for choosing the Si this time are as follows.
I always called the Subaru a 4 season, all weather license to do whatever you want. Mash it in anything but deep snow or ice and you are gone. With the right tires, you can dance around in...
