The accessory was the resist all on the interior which they do for free on all of their vehicles which is why the actual cash value is what it is. No mark ups and no accessories. That’s the price.
Has anybody found black carbon fiber trim for the door pieces similar to the oem red carbon pieces that fit properly? I tried an eBay piece that said it would fit, but it was too big and went over the red trim and didn’t sit flush.
You can find most of those much cheaper outside the dealership and then just pay for the install, if necessary, but I don’t know how much that would save you in the end.
You should be able to negotiate the dealer installed stuff to a point, but they are, in my opinion, extremely over priced to begin with, so that’s up to you. As for the price of the car, I would look for one that has been sitting on a lot for awhile and see how it goes. Many dealers won’t budge...
If you can find one for 31k, definitely go for it! I paid 34,200 and from what I’ve heard I am in the minority paying under MSRP. As for the age thing; don’t ever let that bother you! The CTR is a perfectly functional daily driver with plenty of space. Minus one seat haha.
I do like both, but there is just something about glossed carbon fiber that looks nicer in my opinion. Though the matte on the hood would look great as well. I don’t think you can really go wrong.
Hey guys, I’ve been lurking since I purchased my CTR and I’m sure this has been mentioned, but I cannot seem to find it. I’m looking for some black carbon fiber trim pieces to replace the faux ones on the doors. Is my only option the soft stickers? If so, where would be the place to purchase...
I second Dover Honda in New Hampshire, bought my CTR there for under MSRP. They did screw up my registration, but VT taxes and fees are a real pain compared to NH. Still a fantastic experience.
