I like them very much, handles great as my R is my daily drive. Driven in heavy rain and snow as well, without any issues.

It's actually simple 2 little locking tabs on top and bottom. squeeze a little bit and you can push it out from the back of the panel.

My R actually have both body side moldings on and also with the Rally Armor mud flap on. I had the side molding on my previous car, and it actually protected the door once when I was sitting in the car with the car next to me decided to swing the door fully open.
