Supply must be total broken. Looks like fuel pumps will not be available in my area until Sept-Oct 2024. Should my pump fail the instruction is to call Honda Roadside Assistance and they will replace it with a non-recall pump and still have to return when the pumps are available to have it...
Car is parked for the next month. Ordered the Wunderladen because the availability is still up in the air. I will do the install when I return. I doubt there will be any reimbursement from Honda but I will try.
Checked- my Si VIN is on the recall. Since my dealership is 70 miles away I think getting the Wunderladen drop in will be my preferred option. I wonder if Honda will reimburse the cost of the pump? They would be getting labor for free... Still trying to figure out the install process for the...
Sucks to have to park on the street in those conditions. Even a carport helps having to clear snow. I don't have a real garage just a single car sized plywood floored shed. The Civic lives there along with some indoor rated propane heaters for cold start warm up duties. My 2500 is in the carport...
I just called Smith Honda in Idaho Falls and they are waiting on parts and to call back in March. I have my rear seat bottom out because I can fit my road bikes in in the back without taking off the wheels and it gives me easy access if I don't drive the car often to drain the tank. Good to hear...
Hmm so BB RV6 or Vargas GC+ trying to decide. Definitely will have to add the 27Won TIP and the PRL downpipe at a minimum. I have the Phearable tune now and the passing 60-90 is good but a half second or more off that would be helpful.
I like the way ballade looks in the engine bay but not sure it is as effective as the others being so close to the firewall. Seems the Perrin and Ultra Racing set the bar as far away from the firewall as possible. The bolts on my Siri Moto bar ended up getting bent rendering the bar unusable...
Hmm I will be careful when I install mine. I am most likely going to remove the knuckle as I have new axle nuts available. I will assemble the shock and spring as a unit off the car and torque to spec. Hopefully I will not run into the same issue.
I believe it can. You need the metal shelf, the plastic tray that sits in the metal shelf, the longer ground wire, the tie down and one of the rods to hold the tie down. There is also a black plastic surround for the battery. I did a side by side schematic comparison to determine what PNs were...
I swapped out the Si battery and metal tray for the the Type R battery and metal tray along with the they type- R grounding cable. Which version do I need to buy?
Totally agree if you drive 10 minutes a day to get to work is way less pollution then driving 5 hours a day (like most do in CA). Never heard this issue address by anyone. That is why I have a hard time with politicians they never are open an honest and simply act to protect their own interests.
I am about to do this install with Swift springs soon but I am going to remove the knuckle/hub entirely which involves taking the brake calipers off and axle nuts (which I have ordered since they should be freshly notched each time). It seems that a lot of headache can be avoided regarding the...
Yes the Costco one is going strong. The original died after 11 months with never having any extraneous drain. The stock in my JGC diesel is still running strong after 4 yrs even with some drains. Didn't bother with Honda not worth the trip to the dealer to fight over $100.
