I'll be contrary to everyone here. I went from a lowered 2013 FRS. Never had any issues, but I traded out of it when the valve spring recalls came out. The type R is definitely faster, and performs better. BUT, as far as fun factor the FRS was actually better in some ways. First, and...
2020s have gone up in price across the board. Type r is a limited production and the last 2019s have already shipped. The only dealerships having trouble moving them are the ones charging over sticker. Your logic sounds good, but you're incorrect. Again, I'm not here to talk shop. Im simply...
Type r's go to dealers on something like a lottery system. They only know what they're getting shortly before it arrives. Currently the only thing shipping are 19s. In addition, we have not received any training materials or information regarding 2020 type R's. We probably won't see them...
Harley has made many posts that rubbed me wrong. This isn't one of them. Stop looking for a reason to be a jerk, there's nothing wrong with this post. And he might actually be right here...
Ask the dealer to show you a "gapless" example of a Civic hatch in any trim level. Spoiler:. He can't. They're all like that. Even the new 2020 sport tourings have huge gaps everywhere.
If you park it in gear, you need to shift to neutral and back into gear for the parking brake to auto disengage. It's looking for the seatbelt to be buckled, and for you to shift into gear. So if you try, and it doesn't work, go to neutral and back into gear.
ALSO... if you have brake hold...
I had similar vibrations and bounce. When I went in for my last oil change and tire rotation, it turned out my rear tires were scalloped badly. I was told it's due to the stock camber of the rear wheels. They say that it will likely happen with any tires, but is more common with cheaper tires...
What they meant was that with the camber of the back wheels, I might have issues with scalloping with any tires, regardless of rated miles. Especially with "cheaper" tires.
The all seasons on mine are scalloped in the rear already. Not sure when the original owner installed them, but the car has less than 9000 miles on it. The techs blamed it on the rear wheel factory camber. Currently looking into buying smaller rims and different tires.
It's pretty simply, Harlaquin... Those people that paid 10,000 over sticker a few years ago are trading their cars in. Dealers are paying high trade value because the payoff is getting rolled into the new car the customer buys - lowball that trade and the customer isn't in a position to afford...
I'm a Honda salesman. I see them every day at work. EVERY DAY. Not allowed to sit in it, play in it, or test drive it.
We took in a black one in trade last week. So I bought it. I couldn't help myself. Great car, 2018 only 4000 miles on it. Couldn't help it. EVERY DAY I was staring at...
