  1. What did you do to your Civic today?!

Nah. But they may repair it for free. I'll find out tomorrow. I've seen a lot of stories about these Civics with cracked glass before the first oil change. Gotta be defective or just really awful quality.
  2. What did you do to your Civic today?!

I had the windshield replaced. It was cracked by a pebble a few weeks ago. Then, on the way home from work, it cracked again. These windshields are cheap pieces of junk. Smh.
  3. Cracked Windshield

My windshield was cracked by a pebble a few weeks ago. The crack immediately expanded halfway across the glass. Today I finally got it replaced and the FIRST TIME I drove it after the repair, it got cracked again. It had to be a tiny pebble. I can't believe how fragile these windshields are...
  4. Your Dont need a Volume Knob!

    :rofl::rofl::rofl:
  5. Honda Financial Services screws up big time...

I cancelled my auto pay and deleted my bank information from the system. Tomorrow was going to be my first payment, as I just got the car last month. So I'm pretty sure I'm in the clear. Still crossing my fingers.
  6. Honda Financial Services screws up big time...

Holy crap. Glad I saw this thread. My account was set to deduct payment tomorrow. Just cancelled and am setting up through my bank instead. Geez.
  7. My first fill up- MPG

In my usage, the on board fuel mpg calculator is pretty close to my real-world numbers. It's generall within a half mile or so. My last car (2012 Kia Optima) was often 3 of 4 miles off. I'm about 1400 miles in now. My current tank seems like it'll be the best. It's over 37 mpg now with less...
  8. Black Crocodile 2016 Civic Touring

Nice. That looks like a lot of work.
  9. New Deep Concave Custom 19 inch wheels on LX

Looks nice on the ride. A shame that you're selling them. Even more of a shame that I don't have the cash to burn to take them off your hands right now.
  10. Display Homescreen + Wallpaper Thread

Hmmmmm. I don't remember if mine had that prompt. I'm going to lunch soon. I"ll check and report back. Verdict: I just went out and plugged in my USB drive and there was no security prompt when I went through the process. Photos showed up immediately in my gallery also. You might want to try a...
  11. Your Dont need a Volume Knob!

Honda already has a solution for those people who hate touch sensitive volume and steering wheel volume controls. It's called the LX. ;)
  12. Display Homescreen + Wallpaper Thread

Idk re: USB stick. It recognized mine without any issues. I used the USB port inside the center console, near the cup holders. Otherwise, this video from earlier in the thread walks you through the process.
  13. Display Homescreen + Wallpaper Thread

    Pardon the dust. lol
  14. Display Homescreen + Wallpaper Thread

This thread just made my day! I have a St. Louis Cardinals wallpaper loaded now, but I'm going to find a bunch of cool images to experiment with and post photos later.
  15. Seeing other 16's civics

Saw an older lady (80+) in a Rallye Red civic this morning on the way to work. I'm almost positive I saw her and her husband at a dealership a few weeks ago before I bought mine. I saw one on the road yesterday as well. All in all, I've had about 5 or 6 2016 sightings in the two+ weeks I've had...
  16. Your Dont need a Volume Knob!

Gotcha. Well, others seem to be having a terrible time with the swiping. So for them, it would seem like +/- would be an easy solution. That's why the new system doesn't bother me. There are tons of ways to adjust volume so everybody should have a pretty easy time. You just have to pick the...
  17. Anyone purchase Honda's Maintenance Program? Worth it?

I had it included with mine for "free." Of course I'm sure it was built into the price, but I a pretty good deal on my EX so I didn't make a fuss. My dealer has an Acura dealership very close to my house, so I'll just take it there for the servicing and it'll be pretty convenient. They'll give...
  18. Your Dont need a Volume Knob!

If you're driving, there's really no reason not to use the steering wheel volume control. That's why it's there and has tactile feedback. For passengers, looking, tapping or holding really shouldn't be that much of an issue imo.
  19. Your Dont need a Volume Knob!

LOL. I was just about to type this. You beat me to the punch. You can even hold the +/- if you don't feel like tapping. It's not rocket science. It's amazing how combative some people are to change.
  20. Many issues with the tech in this car

That sucks. Luckily for me I haven't had any issues other than the bugginess of Android Auto.
