Nope, that's the out of box look of those XBs! They are a very very dark amber when switched off (basically black), and then they look like that when you flip them on.

The criticisms regarding the LE are really interesting - I wonder if it really does have to do with the way the suspension is set up from the factory. Sounds like the software is pretty intrusive on anything less than a smooth track surface.

Was browsing around and found some snaps of the 19x9.5+38 fitment on a Subi. Honestly looks better than the 8.5+45 IMO.

Work also makes the D9R in a 19x8.5 +45 fitment, which looks like this on a Megane RS (can't seem to find any pictures of the FK8 with these rims). You can see the lip isn't nearly as pronounced, but it's definitely aggressive. The Megane has pretty large Brembos up front as well.
