I think the computer uses several variables to make it's decision; mileage, time, driving style, etc. As the OP describes it, it's almost a year, so time is the chief determinant.
In the early 70's, on a hot summer day, we were traveling from Okla to Tenn in my wife's new 1972 Gran Prix. Toward the end of the trip, we kept hearing strange "pop sssssssh" noises; very faint. Couldn't figure it out. Got to Tenn and went to unload the trunk. We had left Okla with 2 cases...
zeffy, don't do this job yourself. Your confidence level would make it dangerous. Everybody's not a mechanic; even those who think they are. Check around with friends and neighbors to find a shop that can be trusted. Get an estimate, or two. Be safe and save money.
I'm 81 (next week) with a '19 EX Coupe. I appreciate most of the goodies, although I confess to using some of them so seldom I forget about them. My complaint is that Honda has done such a poor job of identifying and explaining all the gadgets. This thread is a perfect example.

Somebody on this board had a thread a number of months ago about a spray paint from Walmart that was a perfect match for the metallic gray wheels. Do a little search.
