Any datapoints on 10" +41 (== 9.5" +35) with Yokohama AD08R 265/35/18?
I'm lowered on Pro kit but I think my springs have settled lower than the advertised 0.8" ~ 20mm drop, pretty sure my current height is more akin to Swift (1").
Have front ball joints (-2.6deg front camber), rear is static -...
An update almost 6 months in:
Been through several touchless washes now + several heavy downpours. Can confirm no water leakage with my shortened loom (between hatch door and hatch body).
So the lights were always working, it was just after a drive this weekend they stopped working.
I did exactly just that - took out the HRS reverse light connector from the stock harness, wiggled it, flipped the connectors, and the reverse lights started working again. Looks like the wiring had...
Ah okay. I see.
Update to my experience... I was out for a drive this weekend and a friend of mine told me my rear driver's side brake light was out.
I asked him to film it, and indeed it was out. Not just 1 or 2 LEDs, but the entire reverse light. The brake lights and turn signals are working...
I remember reading that it's a PITA to open/route through the OEM loom... any tips on how you managed?
Interesting point on the touchless car wash. How did your wire loom sit originally, and how did you adjust it?
With the full length running from the weather striping (where you pull up and...
I've had the HRS taillights since they released their first batch (medium smoke). Installed them mid-March, and here are my thoughts after having them on for 3 months:
- Fitment for the main taillight pieces are fine/great
- Hatch/wing sequential sections are mostly fine. The biggest issue I...
Update to this, 2-3 days ago the service manager at my dealer contacted me again and let me know that 10459 Type R's affected with 73 in Canada. Will receive a letter late July if you are affected.
I have a 01/19 build date, and nothing showing up for my VIN on https://www.honda.ca/recalls ...
I called my dealer today, confirmed with them that there is a bulletin put out for Canadian 2018-2019 Type Rs for the same fuel pump issue ... more details expected to be available week of June 1st (this week).
Looking to get 225/45/18 for my winter setup with Fast FC04 18x8 +40ET or the TR Motorsport C4 Black 18x8 +32ET.

I'm a thing for creature comforts... the physical buttons for infotainment the 2019 are miles better, the parking light on the e-brake is nice too (although I don't recall if this was already standard in Canada pre-2019). You'll still enjoy the car plenty without them, but it's definitely nice...
Tangentially related, but I find even with shifting early (at ~2k RPM) my city fuel economy still isn't great. Probably sitting between 10-10.5L/100 (22.4 - 23.5MPG). Yet I see some posts of people around here hitting 8-9L/100km (26.1 - 29.4 MPG).
It's my daily and I don't usually gun it around...
Considering the auto high beam relies on the window mounted camera, I don't think the 2019 Canadian Type Rs have it...since we don't have a window mounted camera like the EU ones do for Honda sensing.
But hey if someone can get it to work, I definitely have driving situations where this could...
I think $640USD is a small price to pay in the grand scheme of things.. much less than a new car or a hospital bill.
At a minimum replace your tires in pairs, if your treads are worn down enough already. Your tires are quite literally keeping your car (and you) on the road... I wouldn't want to...
This is the closest thread I've found to a similar noise I've heard in my car... I can reproduce it randomly (seemingly in colder temperatures?), on braking. It's like a clanging noise inside the front of my engine, like when two plates hit each other.
The car is fine pretty much at all other...
Found an answer to my own question...

Tl;dr: the glove box bulb will take a T10.
It's $1.35-1.45 (give or take) in eastern Ontario for 91 octane, 1.17 - 1.25 for 87.
Thankfully I have multiple fuel savings cards to bring 91 down to ~1.30 (or somewhere in that ball park).
Have a bunch of family in Vancouver and it never surprises me how absolutely bonkers gas prices are...
Good to know it sticks well on the faux carbon trim, I was scared to put my magnet mount there (similar style to yours, small ball joint that's 360 rotatable).
Do you feel your phone is angled enough to look at when you drive? I'm contemplating placing mine to the left of the infotainment on...
Could you post another pic (or two) from a wider angle, with the phone mounted?
Also, is that this mount? https://www.amazon.ca/GETIHU-Universal-Dashboard-BlackBerry-Smartphone/dp/B075WSS482
Because I have a similar one from PrimeCables and I just spent a while tonight trying to figure out...
Still looking for an answer with the glove box lights. I assume they're T10, but hard to tell.
I didn't realize USDM doesn't actually have the glove box light included... seems like we get them standard in Canada.
