I just sold my 2019 Si sedan with 36k miles and bald tires to Carmax for $100 more than I paid new.

I find this a little disappointing. No update to the motor from the last generation, which was already soft power-wise. No LSD. And after going for the Korean Audi look with the prior model, they have succumbed to K-Pop weirdness here. I guess we'll have to wait for the N version for the good...

I installed the 18-19 CTR shifter and wish I had put in the new one. But it was still an upgrade, along with full Acuity parts.

Shifting slow is THE infallible cure. But who wants to do that? I'm not even talking about not slamming gears -- you have to shift slower than what a normal rhythm feels like. At least for the first 15-20 minutes.

My #1 condition for 1-2 crunches is when short-shifting while going uphill and everything not fully warmed up. There's a stoplight near my house, part of my daily commute, where it most often occurs. (CMC adjusted, full Acuity shifter goodies, Amsoil mtf.)

There had been some threads speculating about adding ASC from the 2020 Si to prior years. Any updates on that? Doable? Impossible? Asking for a friend.

All SRIs sit high and pull air from the top of the engine bay. And of course as you get moving you start to draw cooler air. But the ad copy for this intake suggests cool-air benefits from retaining the lower part of the stock intake. I'm not seeing how that'd work, so I'm guessing this is...

Is that intake *really* appreciably cooler than a regular SRI? Or is it just marketing BS?

I seem to recall seeing a pic online showing that they are identical or virtually identical in shape and size (but ti is heavier).
