Could have grounded it somewhere on accident and blew a fuse. Happened to me when installing my audio system. My fuse was in the engine bay, but my problem was with the radio. Good luck!
Just for info. My 350z’ windows use to do that when the motor was going bad. If there is a way to calibrate it, I’d start there. When I changed the motors out, they’d do the same thing but then I would just calibrate it. If it continues, maybe it may be the motor. Anyways, keep us posted with...
Check Amazon or eBay, plenty of dual USB cables. You'll have to test it and see if it works. I don't think it will work.
I had an old school iPod for use with the car and couldn't get it to work because it would keep freezing.
I want to emphasize two things what quality_sound posted.
You don't need to replace the rears because they're just back fill noise. Spend the money on a good set of fronts and a sub, powered by a decent amp. I'm currently working on my audio build right now. I'd recommend sound deadener, it...
Replacing just the speakers might not make much of a difference to spend that much money. Your OEM radio is specifically tuned for your speakers. Adding new speakers might make it sound worse if they are not properly powered.
The 18 sport has lower level stereo right? I think as long as you don't have the 7in touch screen, you might be able to replace it with something other than OEM. I have the sport touring with the 7in touch screen and my climate controls are in the stereo itself so it can't be replaced. If you...
Yeah that’s the same thing I got! Just find it hard to believe you know? Since separately they’re around $2,600. I wanted to see if anyone here has actually purchased it.
thanks for the response
So I apologize if this the wrong place to post this. I’m interested in coilovers and been reading up on them. I came across the HKS coilovers and I’m interested in purchasing them.
However, I came across this HKS recommended package. Serial number 33010-BH002.
I’ve been trying to figure this...
Yesterday, I did another oil change and my oil smells of gasoline (again). Like many people, i bought the civic for reliability, its looks, and high mpg. This is my first purchase that went over $20,000 and honestly I'm a little pissed. Like many of you I worked hard for my money and expected...
Had a 350z before my civic. It was a fun car. If I wanted to race, I would’ve got a type R. The 1.5 engine (especially on a CVT) is fun, but it’s not for racing. It’s a daily driver and fuel efficient. Be happy with what you got.

Thanks for the response Josby, I was reading your post too, amongst others. I would like to keep the center speaker for voice promotes and keep the oem functions it provides. The rears are just filler so I’d still have them running off the oem amplifier.
I only recently learned the signal from...
Ive been reading some posts and have a question about an audio build I want to do.
I have a sport touring and it seems everything is integrated in the head unit.
I plan on doing the Hondahack for the head unit for some extra customizations.
I have a fix 86 where I’m planing to use the front...
Not sure if this helps, but back in the day I had a JBL amp 4 channel that had the same hissing problem. I read on a different car audio forum to run a wire wrapped around the RCA’s (don’t remember if it was a wire per RCA or if you could group it) and create another ground. It fixed my issue...
