I can honestly say this swap was relatively easy. As Domicubarican said though, the milage needs to be programmed to reflect actual mileage of the vehicle. No other programming needs done.

Source not working is normal as EX and above do not use that button as source but rather a select button. The call buttons however worked perfectly for me on my swap so I don't know what is happening

You can just plug the old harness into the new radio and have steering wheel controls still functioning. No need to worry about doing anything to those wires.

No this is for the rear view camera to operate as it did with the original head unit that was in there. That is the reverse wire trigger to turn on the lights when in reverse gear. What that does is tell the new head unit that it needs to switch to the rear view camera on the screen
