  1. Converting Non touch screen to touch screen?

In my opinion it was worth it. I was able to do the whole swap for a little over $300. Everything you need to know to do the swap is in that tutorial. I've also since doing the radio upgrade, changed to the digital gauge cluster and EXL steering wheel with volume slider as well. Do your research...

Now i originally had it directly...
  4. Mechanical to Digital Cluster Swap?

I can honestly say this swap was relatively easy. As Domicubarican said though, the milage needs to be programmed to reflect actual mileage of the vehicle. No other programming needs done.

Source not working is normal as EX and above do not use that button as source but rather a select button. The call buttons however worked perfectly for me on my swap so I don't know what is happening
  6. DIY: retrofit Hondalink to LX/Sport

You can just plug the old harness into the new radio and have steering wheel controls still functioning. No need to worry about doing anything to those wires.
  7. DIY: retrofit Hondalink to LX/Sport

I like your style. I too like challenges. Most of the things I do are because someone said it couldn't be done or it was too hard. I don't have the dimensions but I will have the head unit out of mine in a few weeks for another project I have going on. If no one can help by then I will measure...
  8. DIY: retrofit Hondalink to LX/Sport

You will still need all the parts listed in page one plus you'll have to completely rewire the harnesses behind the head unit to match up the RSX speaker and power wires to the new unit plus the rear camera, steering wheel controls and mic for hands free, Depending on what all your vehicle is...

  14. DIY: retrofit Hondalink to LX/Sport

The reason that the two pieces you have don't mate up is that they are for two different things. One of the connectors is for for the tuner unit to receive the signal from the car's antenna. this piece needs to connect to the adapter I posted earlier. you will connect the two adapters together...
  15. DIY: retrofit Hondalink to LX/Sport

you also need this connect to the tuner unit. connect the blue wire from this adapter to the one you have. you also have to swap the position of where the pin is on this adapter so the OEM antenna signal is received by the tuner...
  16. DIY: retrofit Hondalink to LX/Sport

Definitely not optical and yes you can splice that back together. make sure to isolate the conductor (center pin) from the shield (outer copper strands) I would recommend soldering the splices to ensure a solid connection and use electrical tape to cover your solder joints. solder and tape the...
  17. DIY: retrofit Hondalink to LX/Sport

No this is for the rear view camera to operate as it did with the original head unit that was in there. That is the reverse wire trigger to turn on the lights when in reverse gear. What that does is tell the new head unit that it needs to switch to the rear view camera on the screen

I agree with kotarou. But do some research and you can find the GPS antenna for around $25. That's what I did
