If you like the MAP exhaust, I would consider a custom exhaust for a fraction of the cost. That's what I did. All they use is Vibrant ultra quiet resonators so it's pretty easy to mimic the sound.

True, but it also doesn't hurt to future proof it if you're going for more power down the road. To each their own, on my si I literally felt little to no gains with full 3 inch. My top end doesn't choke as much but that's about it.

If you have 3 inch fp/dp then it only makes sense to finish off with 3" exhaust. I went the custom route and saved some money. Didn't feel like spending 800 bucks for 5 horsepower.

If you scroll back a bit I posted a clip of me revving a bit and 2 step. Thermals have been alright, I don't notice any change that worries me. AFRs, short and long fuel trims all look good, along with knock.

According to John Vega, he said that as long as you don't abuse it you should be fine. I'm basically running the same setup as you, and i've been good. Have only really used it a few times, it sounds cool but the stock exhaust only does so much. You won't regret it, i'm enjoying it a lot more...
