So after disconnecting the battery terminals last night I got up and reconnected them and the car started right up. Warning systems that I didn't even know existed were flashing on the screen. I brought it to the dealership and left. Hour later I got a call that the technician...
So I had my 2019 EX condenser replaced 2 days ago. AC works fantastic now. But the touch screen did not work at all, the cruse control doesn't work, the setting had changed so that if I walked away from the car the doors will lock. Got up this morning and the car was dead. Drained battery. Jump...
Spray the engin compartment down about every 6-8 weeks with a mix of peppermint and water. I've been doing it for a couple years now and it seems to work well. One time I forgot and went about 3 months and they were back doing their dirty deeds.
Wow! Got all the way to your cabin filter? Bastards! I used Gunk to clean my motor. Seemed to be fine. I covered my alt and stuffed a plastic bag in my intake. Just spray down the engine about every 6 weeks and all should be good.
My car also does this in the colder months when things shrink down just a tiny bit. I was thinking of maybe sticking some kind of thin rubber bumper stick on between the two parts.
Just wondering what the speed rating of the tires are? I stopped using V rated tires because the sidewalls are to stiff and the ride and vibration are a bit to much for me.
I just had a drain and fill done at 41,000 miles. Will have a total drain and fill done with filter done at 80K. I haven't seen a reminder come up for me.
Door speakers are pretty easy. I would spend another $40 and treat the inside door panels with a sound proofing sheets like dynamat or something like that while you are in there. It will take about another half hour of time.
They say it's not a coil but I would change the coil on 1 with another cyl and see if it moves ( the code reading). Sometimes they kind of hang in there for a little while before they totally crap out.
Probably are seeing the difference because it's a manual. No doubt the shift points are lower in a auto. The AC isn't engaged all the time with the car in Ecno mode also. It's also less reactive and slower from a dead stop. More like a Limo ride. Ecno mode makes about a 2mpg difference in my car.
Is your AC on? That might drop the rpm down just enough to make it shake? You might want to try running some good fuel injection cleaner also. Recently I bought some generic gas and my car got the shakes until I got a few tanks of good gas through it.
Can't tell from the picture if the hood is sitting lower on the drivers side or the plastic piece in the front is pushed back into the hood and making that gap smaller? Or the small piece in front is pushed up and sitting higher than the hood.
