Honda Premium speakers are pretty good (neodymium magnet even).
but they are badly EQ'd by default (Honda). those speakers are ruined by a software mess.
with Viper4Android they sound like a completely new system. Alternatively you can install a DSP and it will sound even better.
my condenser was ordered in april 2023 and it took like 4 weeks until it was delivered. so chances should be high it's from a newer batch, right? quite frustrating if this one will leak aswell...
this paying for 'diagnostic' is actually a huge scam.
you can check with a flashlight if there are visible residues at the bottom of the condenser. my dealership just did that and said, that's what Honda told them. there's nothing else needed for diagnosing this issue and that's for free...
my condenser is failing again now.
it was replaced in June 2020 already.
are there several revisions of the condenser? is it possible that they replaced it with the faulty version in 2020?
pretty frustrating.
you can simply test that by yourself.
just use the fader and compare the rears to the fronts.
rear sounds hollow and has barely bass.
the speaker size is the same.
im using the front signal for my sub. goes down to like 30hz.
Hi there,
first time ever i managed to get a little cut in my tyre (sidewall) and i dont even know, how / when i did that.
quick question:
is it still safe to drive with it?
pictures attached.
i dont see the carcass coming through, so it seems it's just the surface... so it should be safe?
:(
I just know that the signal for the rears is massively reduced in bass. so this signal shouldn't be used for after market subwoofers.
the speaker size is the same in the front and rear. but the signal differs. it's complete nonsense what Honda did here.
i also need the suction hose exchanged.
does the service bulletin number differ between other countries?
i actually wanted to show the dealership a copy from it. but I'm missing the german service bulletin... :(
this audio signal from the honda amp for the subwoofer output isnt great anyway and barely gives you strong bass. (just something between 30-50hz)
i tapped into the audio signal of the front speakers, which gives you full bass down to 30hz.
dont use the rear speakers, their signal is heavily...
hopefully it wasn't answered here yet (if yes, sorry!):
the bulletin number is the same for all countries, right?
iam having the same problem/noise, but i can't find this service bulletin in german.
using android auto here for 3 years now and never had any issues. all stable and fast.
can't comment really on data usage, but according to my phone i used 800mb spotify and 140mb for Google maps. this was last month.
both apps also use offline content though. Google maps offers offline maps...
meanwhile iam already using this now for 2 weeks.
it's working great, no more plugging into a usb cable. :p
start-up time is actually the same like via cable. (~15-20sec when you start the car, also depends on your phone)
for those who dont know how it works, there are a few videos on youtube:
https://www.civicx.com/forum/threads/aawireless-adapter-finally-for-order-question-regarding-the-powered-usb-ports-in-our-civics.61633/#post-1000099
onced installed (2-3min) it just works like on the 11th gen Civic.
Theres even an option to start AA automatically. you dont have to touch...
i have order number 19xxx. i guess i have it end of the month. they have chip shortage, so many units got delayed.
but no issues are reported for honda civics so far.
no, because somebody needs to port all the drivers and honda specific apps/framework. the sourcecode for those arent available for the public.
everything was optimized for android 4.2.2., also because older android versions are more simple and easier to modify.
android 5+ introduced many...
