For your consideration is my Radium PCV Catch Can for the FK8. Purchased direct from Radium Engineering.
Used for about 4,000 miles - caught nastiness that I wouldn't want recirculated through my K20C1!!
Everything torqued to spec. Ready to drop in.
Price: $120 shipped
Selling my OEM FK8 spare tire kit. Purchased new from dealership. Comes with everything you see here. Pick up only.
$275
Location: Central Indiana (just north of Indy)
Would recommend. Don't see the point in allowing the oil into the intake stream, hitting the valves with no petrol to wash it away. I like my Radium PCV catch can.
Radium PCV catch can here. Installed mine at 329 miles on the clock. I'd rather the can trap the crap than it just being recycled into my intake manifold and engine.
Whoever makes an intake the goes over to the passenger side instead of utilizing the factory turbo inlet pipe directly over the oven will get my money. For now my PRL "Stage 1" will suffice.
Civic Type R hasn't came with middle rear seat since introduction in 1997 while all the base models did. It doesn't come with a middle rear seat because it's not supposed to lol. There's no chassis/suspension/wheel/tire limiting factors at play here. It was done because Honda thought it made...
The Type R doesn't come with a middle rear seat because it is Type R tradition to omit it. Could they have, yes for sure. Same with a sunroof, easily do-able, but not in the spirit of what Type R is supposed to represent.
They will never "fix" this. K Series manual transmissions have had on and off issues since they came out, most prevalent since 2006 with the 8th Generation Civic (Si model).
Over the years the best solution I've found is using the AC Delco/GM Synchromesh Friction Modified transmission fluid...
The only thing I would really want is the LogR. I dislike Sensing type features in vehicles. All other things I would value from the 2020 update can be easily added (or even better aftermarket options) to the 17-19.
