  1. 2021 Type R Pricing in Canada

Crazy. I paid $41.1k for my 2018. I love the car but $48k, that’s luxury pricing for me, but I’m also cheap haha
  2. 2021 Civic Type R Limited Edition MSRP of $43,995 who is ordering and has an allocation?

Canada is $55k for the special edition. That’s a joke to be honest. But if you buy it, hold and rarely drive, could be worth something.
  3. 2018-2019 Fuel Pump Motor Recall

I feel like if you have to ask how difficult is it is to do yourself, you should be going to the dealer.
  4. 2021 Civic Type R Limited Edition: Ultimate Track-Focused Type R Coming to America

How much does Honda Sensing weigh? Everyone complaining about it but I'm not seeing any numbers.
  5. 2021 Civic Type R Limited Edition: Ultimate Track-Focused Type R Coming to America

I highly doubt the dealer in Canada knows the MSRP yet. The 2020 Type R MSRP is $45,476. I wouldn’t be surprised if the 2021 is around $50k. Also makes me feel good that I paid $39,338 for my 2018.
  6. FK8 and Swindon plant shutdown speculation

I don't believe the Model Y will have such an impact that you think it will. Model Y is still double the price of a HR-V and CR-V and quite a price tag away from the Passport and Pilot. If anything, it will hurt the more expensive SUVs first, but your CR-Vs and Rouges will not hurt as much As...
  7. 2020 Civic Type R Sport Line *Europe Exclusive*

Agreed. I get that "Hatchback trying to be a Type R" feeling
  8. FK8 and Swindon plant shutdown speculation

I think this is the end for gasoline Type R. We're going either Hybrid or Electric.
  9. 2021 Civic Type R Limited Edition: Ultimate Track-Focused Type R Coming to America

How do you know they won't fleece you during the time of pickup? I can't imagine ANY dealership selling this at MSRP when they know they could get $10k over MSRP easily.
  10. 2021 Civic Type R Limited Edition: Ultimate Track-Focused Type R Coming to America

Damn!!!! I wonder if the 600 to US means Canada gets shafted! But US buyers are going to get sooo shafted by dealer mark ups for this haha. Good old US of A
  11. Refreshed 2020 Civic Type R, here it is!

40k USD is quite a significant cost increase for very little changes IMO
  12. Anyone Parking Their R and Suffering Withdrawals?

Yup! I have mine parked in the garage at my parents, so my dad takes it around the block once a week. I'm driving an 2008 CRV. God I miss the hell out of my R. I'm actually debating driving it next winter because of how much I love driving it.
  13. Refreshed 2020 Civic Type R, here it is!

I'm surprised by the Honda Sensing hate. It's a pretty welcomed feature. Canadians got the lane watch and it's fantastic. I wish we got all the Honda Sensing features.
  14. Refreshed 2020 Civic Type R, here it is!

Hate to burst your bubble but if that's your car in your avatar. You don't have a 2020 Type R.
  15. 2020 Boost Blue Pearl CTR

Doesn’t seem like massive improvements compared to the current Type Rs. The front grill refresh will be good but other than that, nothing that should give us buyer remorse!
  16. Type R Winter Storage!

Thanks for the winter storage tips. The R is being put away October 25th. The 2008 CRV has fresh tires ready to go!
  17. Adding a 5th Seatbelt

Oh god I hope this is safe.
  18. The Infamous 2nd Gear Crunch

Holy hell that sounds horrible. I’ve had the grind I think twice within 12,000KM but it definitely didn’t sound that loud.
  19. FK8 Break In Period and Oil Change

Reading everyone’s oil change interval here scares me lol. I’m almost at 11,000KM (6,800miles) and I still have 30% left according to the car. I’ve never gone this far without an oil change but my last car was also a 2008. I feel like I should take it to the dealer and change it.
  20. FACE LIFT TYPE R SPOTTED? Check out the pic. What do you think?

And how much is that gonna cost me in Canada?
