55k is a lot to ask... KBB is priced based on car being full stock, right? 47k trade in sounds like upper end of the price range too.
i am in the same boat OP. My 2019 CW has very little mod (rock guard and PRL intake + AWE exhuast). KBB says 42k to 46k. 5k miles, no issues. I sort of want to...
Quoting AWE's video here. See the screenshot.
The blue line is the car frame's hanger. Red line is where the exhaust touches it. For different installations it is different even if you push it to the end.. For me left side is fine; but right side has a 1/4 inch gap, pretty sure after driving for...
Guys, i think i've fixed most of it. It is not the same issue in this post.
It is the heat shield rubbing against the car frame, see the blue circle.
Another picture that's more clear. See the black rectangle piece? if you tap the heatshield, it vibrates against the heatshield and the car...
yeah that sounds like the clamp. It starts to rattle a few miles after start. Pretty reliable to reproduce. It has to do with exhaust temperature change
Man, i don't think this is the issue for me this time... I added a rubber pad for the RR hanger last winter and it did mute some rattle. I just added another rubber pad for the LR hanger. It doesn't feel like the hanger can hit the exhaust any more... still getting this noise. I also cleaned out...
whoever found out this is a fxxking genius!!! it literally made me love my car again!!! Just did a midnight test drive rattle is gone. it is not the source of the rattle but it definitely helped. I guess the loosen padding absorbs some vibration. I seriously doubt that the third brake light...
Thanks for the pics op!!! yeah i pulled mine out and tested driving for 2 days... the buzzing /rattle is still there.. unrelated to the heat shield. I put it back on...
I think people do it for different reasons.. back in 2018 the mark up for type r was insane. And the only color i was able to find was black. I always wanted championship white. When i was shopping Si had an amazing deal so i took it. It eventually costs me about $100 a month driving my Si for 2...
I think it should fit all civic models. Non-touring trim needs a harness, which is already included.
I don't see any reason Honda makes different shapes of headlights for hatchback / sedan / coupe.
TRS says it fits all Civics 16+. They did not mention trims at all....
Sorry forgot to attach headlights details.
See pictures below.
Pic1: TRS compared to stock Type R. Please note the TRS one has sequential turn signal which is super cool.
Pic2: plug and play harness already included. I had it on for about a year and I only drove like 3000 miles.. so it is in...

I had them for about 1 year and took them down. I loved every single bit of it. Bought them for $500 ish after discount. TRS link...
I am so sorry to see that. Better have it fixed sooner than later because it looks like the ding was quite deep. You don’t want it to rust.
I hate these careless people and I developed a parking spot selection process to prevent it. Like always try to find a corner spot, avoid parking next to...
