this may have taken years, but this thread saved my install. i changed out the prl flex fuel kit (v1) for the new one, since it stopped working, and the plugs and power source is different. power comes from the secondary o2 sensor and not from the fuse, so i didn't think to replace the fuse. did...
it was reading high again on startup (over 70-100%) and causing the car to run like hell. decided to unplug the wiring harness connector from the line and it’s still reading 25%
was this after a short time after install or the better part of a year? i just cleaned my ground wire and SO FAR ethanol is reading at 25%, which is still too high. i’ll try running out my fuel tank as much as i can and see what it reads after a fill up. if no luck, then it’s time for a new kit

i spoke too soon, it started to lock again the next time i drove, so i readjusted it. better than before, but still not perfect. and NLS is really the best way to go about speed shifting. i don’t know why, but it just works
i have the lockout issue too with my spec clutch. i just adjusted my pedal about all the way up and the lockout almost went away completely. feels better on take off too.
I just heard that they may be releasing a master cylinder to fix this problem. i just drove around for a few hours and was seeing when the lockout would occur. i noticed that the rpms don’t drop fast enough as opposed to stock
I bought the clutch and flywheel package. no issues with it other than the lockout. i just had mine put in 2 weeks ago and it’s well broken in by now.
i doubt bushings will help with the gear changes.
Anything on that update? I also have the lockout when speed shifting over 5k, but it’s more like 1 second. I have almost 1k miles on the clutch. spec stage 2+ steel flywheel
it wasn’t even a stupid question. i read through plenty of pages before asking. I come from Cobb Accessports, so there was no “otf map switching”, and the other maps that i have don’t have that feature
Nothing is difficult about it. I had no idea that 3 presets could be loaded onto one tune file. I’m a hands on learner, so as soon as i posted my comment, i grabbed my ktuner, went to the car and started messing with it.
so the tune is downloaded as one file, but is tiered based off of which slot you load the map to? i have the tune, but naturally, without knowing, i just put it in slot 1. i’m only hitting 17psi, but the top end pull is still better than the basemap
i just installed my cobra with a race maf, without proper tuning and it runs like shit. the power delivery is inconsistent and sluggish. i’m also running MAP’s k-tuner base map. it’s driveable and smooth, until you do pulls. i just bought a tune to fix this, just waiting for the e-mail
