Easy remove - just take your time - hit it with a hair driver to loosen up the adhesive and gently pull away. Then take your time cleaning off the gook. Should be good after that man!
Honestly most don't realize they don't have their foot fully to the floor with the clutch when making the shift. This is my second Type R both transmissions worked well / haven't had any issues.
Have you tried adjusting your CMC?
You should give it some more wheel time. That's the initial 'feel' but if you full send yourself over some bumpier areas in R mode, you will see it's actually smoother because it's doing the adjustments so much faster. I thought i would maybe change out of the LE at some point, now it's not...
Did you guys look up that rattle that happens at the bottom of the footwell? Could that be what you're hearing?

May just be the full RMM. I shied away from the full RMM and just went with insert as I was concerned about 'annoying' levels of NVH. With the insert the only time I notice it is if the A/C is on and I'm stopped and it hits juuuust the right cadence of the A/C coming on. Can modulate with...
Hmm that's odd that's close enough shouldn't matter - calls for 69 ft lbs. Do you have a solid mount or the insert? Has it always done that since putting on the rmm or is this something new with the same parts?
Just tossing it out there but if you don't like driving the car hard / baby it, just get some cheaper meat for the tires when you zero out the toe and such. Unless you're pushing the car save your money imo on the Michelins.
You should power it up, load up the software, and see if it is unlocked or bound to a car. I am pretty sure the dealership just sold your stock parts, sold the car 'as stock / highway miles' and let the next owner figure out if there was a tune on there or not. 1000% positive nobody could...
I'm suggesting they could have made a small 'in the spirit of' the original Integra to appeal to the next younger generation. A mid 24-26k car nicely done out with a fun suspension and two door with a hatch so it could be used functionally as well. That's not a bad business prospect or 'shit...
Snag those FK2 wheels a few posts down man - those are perfect - 60 offset 19" wheel. Or you could get a set of FL5 wheels. NSX wheels are harder to come by (I have a set I love) which is another common option.
Houston here, let me know if you want me to help you once over the car. I've had two of them so could at least tell you it drives normal or not etc..
If not no worries just thought I'd offer since you're local and it's your first Type R -
Enjoy man nothing like it. And you have the perfect setup with the lighter wheels and Final Edition ADC module (active dampening control)
Best car ever, my second one. I'm 48 and this car is a joy and imo superior to the FL5 that follows. You got the best one. Cheers man!
Same thing happened with me - Had a 2019 then I took advantage of the insane prices for the market, sold it, immediately regretted it. Immediate thought was to wait for the next gen. At that time it hadn't released but the new Civic had. I went and sat in that thing and quickly thought 'oh...
