I have a just under 800 mile used Mishimoto Intake for sale.
I can only find one chip on the box and you can just barely see the rub marks from tightening down the mounting screws everywhere.
$325, net to me, shipped to CONUS. Prefer local pickup in San Antonio or will meet on the way...
I know I'm not a dealership... but ready to sell my Red 18 R. 2500 miles, nearly completely covered in PPF, ceramic coated and perfect paint. Dropped about 4g's on the paint correction and PPF at Jay's here in San Antonio. Tint, rear spoiler is CF wrapped and I have CF mud guards on it, MM...
Just for fun.. I have a Pixel 2 XL, Pixel 3 XL and an iPhone 8 that all pair and work absolutely fine in my 18. I'm an Audible listener every single time I'm in the car and super rarely have issues.
I'm one of those people that tail you even closer until you move your slow ass out of the way... I mean... if you have a baby in your car, you shouldn't be in the left lane driving slow and you sure don't want a crazy guy that close behind you putting your "baby" in danger.. right? move over :p
I had to do some math... it's not as bad as I thought on an individual basis... I'm over 40, have a 17 year old driver and fast cars.
18 Type R is 811/year. I have new car replacement on this policy, so. minus $126 if you want to do it.
18 Civic Touring is exactly the same...
CTS-V, ATS-V...
Zaino is direct, or from a local dealer... if you don't know what it is, don't worry about it, other things work just fine - like the Adams.
I haven't had to do a coin wash in a while, but I'd make a kit with the following:
Shampoo - https://amzn.to/2CXkiEZ or https://amzn.to/2RF3ZF5 - again...
Just wash it (properly, with good, non-wax and non detergent soap - I prefer Adams or Zaino.... similar products are fine).
You'll need to get it re-coated in a few years. It's not wax. Generally the market states that you have 5-7 years to re-seal to keep the 10 year or lifetime warranty...
I race cars and am a driving instructor/coach for a living...
Here's what I tell my students that are scared of shifting into the wrong gear.
1st and 2nd: Grip the shifter with all 4 fingers, thumb on top - this naturally pulls the shifter left.
2nd to 3rd: top of shifter should be in the...
Just got word from my lovely sales lady where I purchased my CTR that they have a white one on the showroom floor.
$38,600 plus TTL @ Fernandez Honda here in San Antonio.
Margie Vasquez was my sales lady, and as I stated earlier, she was great to deal with. Her cell is 210-993-0270 - call or...
What tires are you running on the track?
Road race or AutoX?
I ran Pirelli slicks front and rear with XP20/XP12 combo and was super happy with the braking performance at CoTA.... XP20's wouldn't work well (at all) on the street and not well for AutoX... or even street tires.
It's had a few little quirks but nothing really that serious.... under warranty. The center console screen has broken twice, had an issue with the sunroof.. that's about it. It's wonderful to drive on the street as well as the track... gets a lot of looks, etc.
I had planned to buy it at the...
Do you think all the monsters at your local race track all have pumps in them that came from the factory? Or even in the factory location?
With respect... are you new to performance cars?
LPE and I'm sure a few others sell pumps that will support well over 1000hp. Just run the custom lines...
Anything can be overcome with enough cash and desire. The fuel pump is easy, boost-a-pump, injectors, new fuel lines run... go ahead... make the plunge. Lead the way for everyone else!
When these cars hit 10-15k, you'll see a whole aftermarket community just like the older cars.
Not really come from as this is an additional daily driver.... 1000hp CTS-V road race car, C63AMG daily , ATS-V daily and a 7.3 Excursion for towing and kid duty are in the current drive pool along with the CTR. Kid drives an 18 Civic Touring. I've had a ton of cars before this, mostly US...
