  1. AC Recall Letter

The thing is I got the compressor replaced, not the condenser. I thought the letter is for the condenser only and I misplaced the letter somewhere already hic. I did do the compressor replacement through Norm Reeves Cerritos. Maybe I should give Honda Corp a call then.
  2. AC Recall Letter

I got the same problem in September 2019 for my 2016 Civic EXL. Cold air on passenger but not the driver. Dealer said it was the compressor that was leaked. I paid 1600 dollars to fix it since it was out of warranty. My car is on the VIN range for the condenser leak. But I never had the...
  3. Throttle body location

My 16 Civic has 75k on it and I just bought a can of Seafoam to clean the throttle body, however I don't know the location of the throttle body is at so if anyone have pics of what to take off please do share.
  4. Can I put 215/45R17 on my Civic?

Hi, My civic still have the OEM tire (Firestone FT140 - 215/50R17), but I'm wonder if I can put the Michelin Pilot A/S3 tires (they don't make it with 50 sidewall, only 45) into my car without any changes to the car? If not I just going to get the Continental DWS06 instead, the reason for...
  5. What did you do to your Civic today? (II)

I installed Sirimoto strut bar today, took me 20 min to put it in. Thanks @procivic for shipping it fast
  6. What did you do to your Civic today? (II)

I replaced OEM battery with Costco (Interstate-brand) battery, and installed new K&N intake air filter (OEM one was too restrictive).
  7. Key fob replacement

You could, you need to hold the key really close to the Start/Stop button. I think there is an section in owners manual that cover it.
  8. Fuel overfill - Honda is aware and working on it?

Its been two week after the fix for me (and I fill gas every week). Last Sunday I went to Costco gas, no leak. But the previous Monday, I went to a Mobil gas, leak. So it is hit or miss (I think the nozzle design has something with fuel leak too).
  9. Fuel overfill - Honda is aware and working on it?

Update: fuel still spill after the fix. This was at a Mobil gas station. Last week I filled at Arco has no spill. Maybe it is a problem with the nozzle design. I will try costco, then shell, and last chevron to see if it is still the fuel cap or the fuel nozzle is causing fuel leak.
  10. Fuel overfill - Honda is aware and working on it?

Got the TSB done today. I havent fill up my tank yet but will let you guys know if its still a problem. Took the dealer like an hour to do but they have to order the part directly from Honda. A coworker of mine has the 17' hatch and I compare the fill cap and I think that Honda redesigned the...
  11. LED VS HID

Wait really? But I guess I'm used to manual on/off now ever since installed HID in my car.
  12. LED VS HID

Kinda agree with you here, I went from standard halogen, to 2Stroke, and finally XenonDepot HID kit, and the HID basically make my driving much more easier at night. The LEDs were bright, but the throw is no where near HID or even upgraded halogen though.
  13. LED VS HID

Relay harness is only for HIDs because of the increase voltage compare to the stock harness can deliver.
  14. LED VS HID

Yep, any of those thing, or even no light output anymore.
  15. LED VS HID

If your LEDs is good quality brand like OPT7 or Morimoto 2Stroke, then overheating should not be a problem. YMMV with this one however.
  16. LED VS HID

Beside I did use the included relays from the kit, so I don't want to risk the chance of something went wrong, and besides, manual on/off remind myself of turning on light before going at night.
  17. LED VS HID

You must DISABLE Daytime Running Light or "Auto Switch-On" functions before the HID installation. HID system requires a steady level of battery voltage of at least 12V initially. “Auto Switch-On” and Daytime Running Light functions draw power from the vehicle battery which causes the HID system...
  18. LED VS HID

Ah, I went with the Xtreme HID kit. Their Volt kit (which is cheaper and does not have the option for Phillips bulb). I ordered around 12am last Wed and I got the package on Friday. I think you can get a better deal than me because right now it's 15% off everything.
  19. LED VS HID

I finished putting the XenonDepot kit in my Civic (with stock projectors), and what a difference it make compare to the LEDs. I did use the relay harness because I don't want to blew my car up. I have tried all three products below...
  20. LED VS HID

    Part number for which one?
