I think it should fit either way. Take a look at the oem orange side marker tab. It is visible on outside when you pull the fender liner in. And the clear side marker tab is on the opposite side of the fender liner, which is pointing inside. If you were to snap it on, the tab will be hard to...

Yes I have looked under the carpet but how the chassis is made, there's no access to the top mount of the strut. It's blocked off by wall of metal. Not sure how to explain.

Yeah I saw the other threads. I haven't noticed any burnings or smelling. The tips are not hot enough to burn the bunper. I touched it after driving and it's only warm.

Bought a Walmart bolt on exhaust tip for $12 and it looks awesome. I like how it looks so far.

It's used by double sided carpet tape. It's really sticky and its secured.
