    Did you make sure the AC was off too? Just the engagement of the AC clutch plus the freon might still make a noise without a belt.... it's a long shot.

    I find it fun to modify and safely push the limits of something. But end the end, I enjoy the build the most. if this car doesn’t sell, it will get a motech, internals and a larger turbo. But I’d hate to do that to something that I find to be perfect as it is right now.

    Soap and water in a spray bottle with an air compressor hooked up to my intake to mimic 20lbs of boost with the engine in top dead center. Not easy to do if you don't have the tools or know what your doing.

    Everything in the R is a variable. A few people have found faulty injectors, bad spark plugs, insufficient grounds and even lazy coil packs.     This is absolutely correct. And on top of the mentioned if you have a R you can hear an aux pump run to help with the cool down after shut down.

    I think its funny when people mention 'turbo lag' when referring to the disco potato family. Gt28s of any sorts don't have turbo lag.
