A lot faster with more power and torque, but no lsd. So in the real world, tons of torque steer and kind of annoying to deal with from a performance perspective. Also the turbos were known to go at about 100,000 miles or so.
The coupe is super sexy with the fastback-ish design. But sedan won me over with the practicality even though I prefer coupes. The sedan has such a big trunk (compared to my 9th gen) I’m just like hatch? Who needs a hatch with a trunk this big? Also, there is a ton of legroom and just room in...
I am a big fan of Mazda’s design elements and engineering. I have a Mazda dealership that I visit a few times a week since I am a vendor, and I am in and out of them a lot and driving them often. They really are great driving cars, they are very driver-centric. Their interiors are fantastic...
Eh, I guess it depends. I was just giving some “for instances”. When I think of Hyundais, as well as actually DRIVE them, I know they won’t age/aren’t currently aging well. They just don’t. Maybe that will change soon, but when I have compared my 6 year old, 115,000 mile civic si with a 3...
I also feel like some were pretty hard on OP. Although I disagree with almost everything he said, what he experienced was HIS experience...I can understand being upset at SOME of those things.
MY experience (and I think the majority with a 10th gen) has been nothing but good, especially where...
I’m not clear as to why carbon monoxide poisoning would be an issue unless someone was parked in an enclosed space. I mean, that’s pretty common sense, right?
hey guys,
Can’t find a good answer from a reputable source anywhere on the internet, and not specific to our 10th gen civics. I drive a 2018 si and take a 30-45 minute lunch break every day, and since i travel a lot and work outside, that break is usually in my car. And I live in Florida so...
Yeah I tend to play it safe too. If I’ve revved it pretty hard soon before I parked, I idle it for a couple minutes if possible before shutting it off. Other than that, I just try to take it easy and keep it under 3k rpms for the last couple minutes of my drive. Maybe I’m just paranoid, but...
I disagree a bit in the sense that the 9th gen pulled really strongly from about 4K-6K. It wasn’t as gradual as the 8th, you definitely had to keep it in the sweet spot especially for overtaking. It was much more usable for daily driving than the 8th.
Yeah I remember on the 9th gen forums, everyone was saying “why aren’t the Sis turboed??? Blah blah blah”. And now everyone wants VTEC back:doh:
Turbo was the way to go. More power and torque, more MPGs, more tunability-win-win-win. :drive:
I agree with OP. I felt a little shortchanged because of that. The steering wheel also lacks any special Si treatment. It bothers me way more than it should, because I love the car. But Honda really needs to think about those little details for the loyal customers ordering, waiting long...
I’d like to see some data on what you said about the LSD. Don’t see how or why it would work different or better on the CTR unless the chassis affected the way it behaves.
No offense intended, but it seems you are OVERpricing this to sell. I haven’t looked into what a used CTR costs, but when they are pretty easy to find MSRP these days, why set the price so high?
