Agreed on Blackstone they give feedback that i can understand,
i have used them for years, i am now running 0w20 Pennzoil Platinum and will get it tested at 5k to see how it is doing.
Here is mine running 5w30 in the fall/winter, you can see how much it thinned out after less the 3k miles. 5w20 is where is landed on viscosity from the fuel distillation.
I am not married but i will agree with you to a point, i keep my cars clean....i mean clean: Griots sealer wax with Chemical guys butter wax on top, 303 on the dash, vac the interior every week, glass clean the windows, rainx the out side, bushes for the dash and vents etc.... I am car guy...
Hi i am looking for any feedback long term on anyone with FX35o clutch with the stock dual mass flywheel on how it is holding up and the feel of it so far for city driving. I am considering this set up as my car only has 14k miles so i am considering running the stock flywheel (unless its...
A Hondata protuner can remove it, but overall it still seems to not drop RPM very fast like a NA car (better then stock but still not perfect) some of this is just how the system works i think.
Watch out for the sammers, i would personally stay away from any one wanting you to ship the car and pay you with a money order or anything like that as there is a lot of fishy scams out there. Also I would say try to sell local and make sure whoever buys it gives you a cash or a cashier's...
Agreed same here based on my VIN nothing at Hondas site, but i wonder if we might be out of luck based on my location as the fall/winter tsb's shows for crv's in northern states of : Maine, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin....... Then possibly expanding to... Connecticut...
I have a can of fix-a-flat as i plan on not running the run flat tires and i have a 1/2in spare ratchet and a deep well 19mm socket in case i need to remove the wheel and tire i also have a small bottle jack as that is all that will fit because its so little space back there.
Agreed, one my friends purchased a 2009 tsx 6speed and the trans syncros have the classic grind in 3rd gear, after i looked into it and found all the rsx information i was dumbfounded lol Sucks! Side note i will be keeping my fluid changed on a regular basis as i would anyways.
I have the stock Goodyear all seasons and i am not a fan in the snow at all, They do fine in 3-4ins but after that they just dont go well.... Blizzaks seem to be popular but are $, i too am curious as to what everyone is running right now oddly enough i have seen some good deals on the...
Agreed very well said.... and as a formal dealer tech myself, i would say keep taking it back! Get a paper trail going on your side by writing down the miles and dates and take vids if possible and yes the best chance on getting action is bring the car to them while its doing it and have a tech...
Agreed Hyundai/Kia are moving up quick! I had considered going this route for the DCT trans.... i come from a Golf GTI and i love the dual clutch auto, i so wish the SI was offered in it, i am all save the manuals and everything but it about time for Honda to at least match their competitors and...
