  1. Finally made it happen. My dream car.

    Welcome! Enjoy your new ride.
  2. Infotainment sound not as loud as it used to be

This afternoon I was running an errand and ran the radio up to 35 before my eyes started bouncing and my inner ears were screaming. I'm an old guy(73) and sure I've had a ton of hearing damage from racing, working on diesel locomotive engines and attending a large number of concerts that were at...
  3. Infotainment sound not as loud as it used to be

Two words: Hearing Loss... If you can't hear yourself talking that's too loud!
  4. Honda wheels

Truth^^^ If I'm not mistaken the OEM Contis are 240 tread wear. They are Not going to last for as long as some people think tires should last these days. Mine are toast at less than 7,700 miles(shoulders), but two years of AutoX impacted the wear.
  5. I finally got my limited edition today 3 years late

Now that's what I'm talkin' 'bout!!!
  6. I finally got my limited edition today 3 years late

Thanks for the PIC. It is gorgeous! Happy for you. Now go drive that thing. Forget about life's stuff and smile! Smile BIG!!
  7. 21 Yellow Type R on the way to me

Thanks! Pics would be appreciated when that yellow beauty shows up!!
  8. 21 Yellow Type R on the way to me

Yeah I'm old, but who cares!? I certainly don't. It's fun when young people zoom up to see who is driving a sweet Honda Type R and they see an "old" gray haired dude! I plan on driving my toys as long as I can gracefully get in and out of them. I AutoX both of my sports cars. "OLD" is just a...
  9. 21 Yellow Type R on the way to me

I'm 10 years older than you and bought my 2019 CTR new. Every time I drive it makes me smile. Life is short. Drive On In Good Health.
  10. Recalls galore

^^^True. My former Toyota Rav4 seemed to get a recall about every other month. Most were B.S. stuff. Before we gave it to our grandkid I took it to the dealer and had all of them done. The car ran like a top, never hiccupped and never tried to kill me without the recalls being completed. Seems...
  11. New owner of a 2019 that wont move.

Wouldn't Honda question warranty soon as they get under the car and notice stuff has been "disturbed"? Just wondering.
  12. Fuel pump recall

Below is a copy of the actual actions needed from the Dec 23 recall. Don't see anything about a "test" to see if replacement is needed: "Registered owners of all affected vehicles will be contacted by mail and asked to take their vehicle to an authorized Honda dealer. The dealer will replace the...
  13. Fuel pump recall

See this and other threads below in "similar threads" section. Quick recap of some issues after changes: gas leaks, gas smells, dirty rear seat, not running right, three days to complete, and numerous other issues. After I talked to a local service manager who claimed no knowledge of the recall...
  14. Fuel pump recall

Our older CTR's already went through a fuel pump recall. I skipped it because of all the horror stories I heard here. Probably skip this one as well.
  15. Minor Issue - Too small of a range on front heat vents to reach hands?

Like CAR said above ^^^ However you are correct about the dash vents on the CTR. Their range of adjustment is severely limited not just for hands on the wheel in a low. position Question why "4 and 8"? Just a casual/relaxed thing?
  16. Dry gas

From OP's original post. The "They" is the Honda dealership. I'm not buying it...SWAG BS! Not at +25f "They said it was more than likely moisture that was froze and clogged the fuel lines."
  17. Dry gas

Excuse me but I'm struggling with the concept that +25f would cause any kind of icing in a fuel line...
  18. Dry gas

Sounds like the dealer was using "SWAG"...
  19. FL5 Wheels Installed on my SGP!

    Tire size used Please?
