Agreed. I strayed for a time and regretted it. I had to buy a scan tool and keep it in my glove to read all the check engine lights that came on. Since returning home to Honda, my scan tool is collecting dust.
I enjoy my Si immensely but in the back of my head their is a voice whispering "Type R, Type R"......every time I get in and drive I am amazed just how good this car is which keeps me thinking just how good the Type R must be. If I get out of this car early it's because of the damn Type R!
Despite the SUV craze, there is still enough of a market to keep making GTI's, Golf R's, WRX/STI and Velosters. How long it will last is anybody's guess. Ford is gambling on carrying over the ST range to SUV's. We shall see how that goes. If it's successful, maybe we'll have an HR-V Si.
What drives me nuts is how the lack of a volume knob is such a big deal. Every reviewer comments on this. It's become a hysteria. I swear its a group think phenomenon with these journalist. Just use the steering wheel control. You should have you eyes on the road and hands on the wheel anyway...
The paint quality is commensurate with the price point of the car and t is no more thinner than its competitors. It is not going to have S-Class Mercedes level of paint. Clear bra is a must!
This info is from an outside source not affiliated with Honda. I know we are in the age of fake news but in the old days people were innocent before proven guilty and news agencies investigated and gathered hard information before making it news worthy. We appreciate the heads up but it is...
Good thing is this a rare occurrence to have a Honda with so much wrong with it. I would love to be the fly on the wall and followed this car from assembly to ownership and see all the contributing factors causing these issues.

2. Spray a good cleaner, I use P21S wash booster.
3. Agitate dirty areas with a brush
4. Rinse. Again, gently and lightly.
5. Air dry engine using leaf blower or compressed air
6. Wipe left over...
For safety sake I would get some seat time in the real world before buying a manual. Some local tracks have driving schools where they will teach you. It's usually around $300. Perhaps a local driving school or a good friend who is willing to sacrifice their clutch? I was fortunate to have...
The Inno is nice....made in Japan and they have it for the coupe:

Yup, I understood this and read the "disclaimer" before buying. I thought I was safe seeing as though it has 3 mufflers and past experiences have been positive. Still, the level of drone is not acceptable. It is still a street application.
I have a coupe and did not run into the same issue. I wonder if there is anything different about the sedan? I am sorry you are having trouble. To be honest, the Magnaflow is a disappointment. It drones a lot which was unexpected based on past Magnflow systems I had. Based on my experience...
