Hey guys,
I remember seeing that when the R400 for the Si was being tested, it had polished tips instead of the burnt tips that the production version has. Does anyone know if this is an option that is available to order?
But implementing it in a custom tune would require that it be in the software anyways. I agree that it would not be wise to have this feature available to the average Joe, but for those with cars that are capable of safely utilizing a feature like this, and who are tuned by tuners who have been...
Can we revisit this now that we have a fair amount of cars running around on PRL's big turbo kit, some of which are running upgraded fuel systems and built motors and transmissions and could greatly benefit from this feature?
Not sure if this is the right section for this post, but I'm looking to see if anyone happens to know the part number for and/or where I can grab a set of the rubber grommets that go underneath the tail lights and have the wiring harness running through them.
I would advise you just get a KTuner from Two Step Performance and use their TSP Stage 1 tune (It is included for free if you purchase your KTuner from them). It will alleviate any of the headaches associated with setting up your own tune, and it has been thoroughly tested prior to being...
You would need just about every wire and harness out of an Si to be able to successfully complete the swap. Switching to Motec would be a much more viable option if you have the money. I would suggest starting with the Saenz rods and Si pistons and going from there.
Awesome. Thanks. Really interested in these. Can you share some more pictures and possibly videos? These look sick, but I'm curious to see what the quality is like and what they look like when in operation.
I would not. Photos of one recently surfaced where the bushings literally shredded themselves after about 10K miles of normal usage. I purchased a Cusco mount and I was going to be comparing it to my 27Won mount that I've had installed for over 10K miles, but now I will be selling the Cusco.
Do you have a source that can 100% confirm this? I'm just concerned about buying the whole kit because the only two cars I've actually seen that have the full kit had big fitment issues with the rear bumper. It didn't line up correctly and some of the tabs were slightly off as well.
Any fitment issues with the rear bumper? I know two people who got the full kit from ABS Dynamics when it first came out, and both of them said the kit fits perfectly, except for the rear bumper.
