  1. The Tuned CivicX Experience & Reliability Thread (for all models)

I'm on TSP stage one which prefers 93 octane, but isn't required. I generally use Esso 93, but sometimes 91 if it's much cheaper 😅. Where in Canada are you located? Years ago when I got my Mustang tuned remotely, the tuner recommended me Esso 93 or Shell 93; based off his other remote clients in...
  2. The Tuned CivicX Experience & Reliability Thread (for all models)

Update Current tuned miles driven: ~6800 miles over 20 months (don't drive much lol) New or changed mods: Temporarily changed back to the stock intake from my K&N SRI to see if IATs and fuel trims would be better. IATs were the same and fuel trims were a couple percent better on average, but I...
  3. Low load mid RPM Backfire/Pop

Check this thread out if you haven't already. Might be the same phenomenon.
  4. Low load mid RPM Backfire/Pop

Do you have rev hang off? Same thing happens with me while it's off, but does not with rev hang on.
  5. 2020+ Rev Hang lean spike/buck issue solution?

Yes, I have a K&N short ram. I did switch back to the stock intake last year, and it was a little better, but the hesitation was still there (switched back to the K&N for the spoolsss lol). So I do think it has to do with the intake. Mind you my fuel trims with both intakes are within a few...
  6. 2020+ Rev Hang lean spike/buck issue solution?

That's exactly what happens in my car. Only, I have a 2018, not a 2020. I wonder why lol
  7. How much actual improvement with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S over Pilot Sport All Season 4

I have PS4S on my Si with the TSP stage 1. It has high limits in the corners, and the sidewalls are definitely stiffer than something like an Indy 500 (have them on my other car). But I wouldn't say it compromises comfort. 1st gear is still spin city (even with BBG limited to 14 PSI), 2nd gear...
  8. Muffler Delete new pipe size

Projecting? Muffler delete on the Si sounds literally nothing like you just described.
  9. How do you guys deal with car bucking with Rev Hang disabled?

Haha GOD mode is a little much for me. I think the occasional backfire is that much more satisfying to me 😆
  10. How do you guys deal with car bucking with Rev Hang disabled?

Depends on if I'll see flames or not 😉
  11. How do you guys deal with car bucking with Rev Hang disabled?

Nope, stock downpipe. Sometimes after a nice pull or downshift, if I touch the throttle around 4k RPM, it's like a gunshot lol.
  12. How do you guys deal with car bucking with Rev Hang disabled?

Mine does. Like loud. Yours too? It's rare, but I'm afraid it's not good for the cats lol.
  13. Confirming that this is the turbo...

Here's my attempt 😅😅. I may have cut into the hot side of the turbo
  14. Fuel Trims (running negative)

By coasting, do you mean off the throttle while moving in gear? The fuel trims should be 0 in that case. (unless you're coasting at low RPMs)
  15. Should I run a BOV or no?

Bisimoto was also called out for deleting all the comments debunking his video.
  16. Traded in my Si

Congrats. I really loved your Si videos on Youtube!
  17. Enough saying the Corolla GR kills the type R

Those aren't true dyno numbers, btw. It says "corrected engine power." People made a big deal of this when the video came out
  18. The Tuned CivicX Experience & Reliability Thread (for all models)

  19. The Tuned CivicX Experience & Reliability Thread (for all models)

That's interesting. Do the hatchbacks have different rods than the sedans? Or is it just some other coincidence?
  20. Edmunds Civic Si comparison, 10th vs. 11th Gen

When the 10th gen first came out, we were getting disrespected left and right by 8th and 9th gen owners. I guess now we're part of the problem now too ?
