Might be easier just to add a bottle of r1234yf. I do it every 18 months or so. Been doing it for 4 years and it works like a charm. (I had no warranty bc my car has a rebuilt title)
I'm having a hard time picturing a wagon. What I think you'd get is a type R SUV. Which I guess would be cool if someone likes SUV's.... A rare breed in this forum.
If it makes you feel better I'm paying $943 a month for my wife's 2022 Honda Odyssey.... A stupid minivan!! (I wanted 0.9% special APR and could only get it w/ a 48 mo loan. And since it was so low apr, I put 0 down.) So, I'd be pretty happy for a payment in the 700's for a Type R. I'd say...
I went and looked at a used Elantra N last year. They only offered me 14k for my civic. Not an Si, but similar MSRP's back in the day. This was a year ago. They'd probably offer even less now. Take the 20k and run.
Oof. LOL, I just read they will give you "close" to 20k...
Just curious. How does the Elantra N pull it off without sacrificing long term reliability? (Then again, it's a hyundai so maybe long term reliability isn't their thing. lol)
If you're already catless, you should try the FK8 exhaust AS IS with zero modifications. It's gonna sound good. I wouldn't mess with deleting anything yet until you at least try it for a while.
My Borla Atak sounded so good with the stock DP. Then for some reason decided I wanted more, so I put on a catted DP and 3" FP. DRONE CITY!!!. Fortunately the FK8 Atak exhaust comes with 2 optional blocking plates to quiet down the exhaust. I use the full block and fold the rear seats down...
Same boat here. Getting older, looking forward to retirement so I can permanently move SOUTH.
They salted the roads so bad here they were literally white. I've never seen so much salt used and I've been in the north most of my life. I cringe b/c I can hear my my civic rusting. Can't wash...
Current tuned miles driven: 32,000
New or changed mods: Catted downpipe. Borla exhaust.
New or changed tunes: I figured out how to smooth out the hondata base tune: keep settings for throttle sensitivity, turbo response, and throttle response all at stock OEM levels. That, and drive with...
Took me a while but I finally discovered this 👆 Ever since I installed a catted downpipe I started noticing really nice gurgles with cruise control on.
Before downpipe I enjoyed driving w/ no rev-hang, but now that I'm getting gurgles, I'll accept the rev hang. lol
I'm on +9 hondata...
