Car sounded like it was misfiring so I brought it in. STFT were lean and the car had an engine light. Dealership told me that the lifespan of DI injectors is anywhere from 50k-100k miles so it was considered "normal wear"
For the first 100k the only issue was fuel injectors which cost around 1200 bucks.
It seems like right around the 150k is where I'm hitting a bit more issues. Car had a wheel bearing replaced a couple weeks ago which was typical. High pressure fuel pump went out around that time as well. Last...
This post nails it. If you have the bug, chances are you will really never be satisfied. It's a blessing and a curse really.
I just recently bought a "fun car" with about twice the hp and tq of my si and it felt fast for about a week. Lol. Also burger is spot on with the usefulness of that...
Yup! Been tuned for over 100k miles now.
Mods are PRL SRI, PRL intercooler, ktuner, new tires and a couple other cosmetic touches. Everything else is stock, including clutch. :)

That being said, if you hate it, I doubt mods will change your mind. I'd get rid of it and get something else...
The 10th gen SI is a unbelievable vehicle. Just this past weekend I bought a "fun car" and yet 99% of the time i find my self reaching for my SI keys. They just nailed it with these cars.
As for upgrading, do what makes you happy man. Life is short, if you want the new one grab it.
Do you have any sources showing that this NA motor is built to get the piss beaten out of it and take it? I'm genuinely looking for information on why they went the route they did when most everything I read from the general public was screaming "THIS NEEDS FI!" I figured it was just cost...
Agree on both statements. It seems a lot of cars are copying the Mx-5 look nowadays. I hate the look of the new civic. They took 5 steps back on that one.
The more I look at the new BRZ the more I wish they kept the last gen style and just added FI. They are such sharp looking cars out of...
