Glad to read another post confirming the SI's power limit is a TSP Stage 1 tune along with an upgraded clutch. I used to drive my fathers IS300 back in the day and had a 350z prior to the SI. Call me a "purist" but the amount of power between those two was more than enough (for me lol) on canyon...
I was able to get the DWS06 PLUS installed Friday and this may come as no surprise, but they are a huge upgrade from my Federal 595 SS. First off, so much less road noise and way more ride comfort. Even compared to the stock SI Goodyears. Now to the point of OP's question. My father has the...
Is the sound coming form the rear? If so, iv had this issue for awhile and still cant figure it out. thought it was my rsb but its tightened and greased. Never thought to check my rear d2 springs since it happened shortly after the rsb installation. i'll have to take another look with the...
Have you pulled the trigger on the DWS06? If so, how do you feel about them?
Regardless, I'll be replacing my Federal 595 SS with the DWS 06 PLUS once they come into the shop. I dont know how credible this site is but the DWS06 (Not plus) stack up well against the PS4's, and a lot of the...
Look into purchasing SPC adjustable lower ball joints and removing the factory guide pin on the top of the struts (its a free mod btw lol). You'll get an extra -1.0 of camber from the ball joints and -0.5 from the guide pin removal. that should solve your rubbing issues and have everything...
If you’re going 255’s or 265’s with that setup get the SPC ball joints For sureee! Haha no way around it. Procivic.com has them for a really good price. If you want to get nutty i think there is another adjustable lower ball joint out there that gets you -2 instead of the Spc -1 Camber buuuuut i...
My B for the late response! For some reason i missed this reply! Well when i did the guide pin removal i also installed my D2’s. I ended up with -1.0 camber. I fit 17x9 +40 on 255/40/R17 tires under that puppy with no rubbing issues. However if you have the 2018 models or earlier you’ll probably...
you get roughly -0.5 in negative camber. To answer your second Q maybeee? lol its really dependent on the place you go to but if my ass can figure it out... a shop should be more than capable.
Honestly i was the same way when i first took off my front bumper with improper tools lol but once i purchased automotive prying tools its made EVERYTHING a hell of a lot easier. no fear of scratching and to give a frame of reference. without the right tools it took me about an hour to take the...
We own Hondas... We're the pinnacle of ricehood. own it lol
to answer your Q: You'd be considered Ricer lvl 1.
Add a peaking anime sticker to level up like me ;) haha
Minor Rant Alert: lol I would say true "Ricers" (derogatory name for Japanese car enthusiast) dont care. the Tuner scene in the...
Hell yeah that thing is pricy lol too much bar for our OE brackets haha Yeah let me know! Im sure it's going to be just as good, if not better than the 22mm whiteline rsb i installed. Cant imagine a reputable Tuning company swindling all of us into buying a weaker bar. well i'd like to think...
I'd hope so haha with that being said IMO worst case scenario is the 25mm bar is rated the same as the OE CTR but with less weight. No way to tell but what i do know is since I've posted this there is a Whiteline Solid 26MM RSB now lol...
