I use AA with Samsung phones and never had a problem with it. Can't comment on Carplay but my wife is an iPhone fan, I just don't like their platform so I guess at the end of the day it's more a question of which phone platform you use. Always use OEM cables though as has been mentioned.
My warranty has just run out so I extended it for another 2 years because of the AC, you just shouldn't have to do that with a Honda!!!! for that reason alone this will be my last until I have regained trust in the brand to produce a reliable product. Its time for Honda to seriously up their game.
Sorry to say but this is my last Honda, for the price here in the UK there are more accomplished vehicles and I need a reliable daily that just works. I have other cars for fun so the civic is just a tool to do a job but it needs to be a reliable tool.
I have heard of turbo failures on the 1.0T. Not sure what causes it but the Cambelt on that engine can shed particles from it and I'm just wondering if the oil feed has become partially blocked leading to oil starvation? Purely speculation on my part but the 1.0T is not one of Hondas finest due...
Trouble is getting the perfect day at the Ring, so many variables as the track is so long and getting the same conditions twice is hard due to track and weather variations, both can have a significant effect on time. What would be interesting is to test them both together on the same day under...
Interesting thread, I assume that the cars in the survey have the L15B7 engine where as here in Europe we get the L15BA which has slightly weaker internals from what I am led to believe. Perhaps someone could add further to this?
Th 10th gen looks like nothing else on the road, the 11th gen looks as though it could be just another box with 4 wheels. So it's a no for me, as its just a daily, I have other cars as weekend toys that bring a smile to my face.
Not sure to be honest. Personally I have done nothing as I plan to change it before anything is likely to show itself. Its interesting though that the UK roads get salted and in Japan its not used, JDM imports here are pretty big business and the cars that are imported have little or no rust...
This version was available in Europe and Japan only, its designation is FK2. Great Type R and possibly a future classic as they didn't produce many of them
I know it was located in the fuel tank and they said to make sure the tank was only half full. Apparently the tank sits at an angle and if full they can't take it out as fuel would spill inside the car.
