I doubt Honda will send any updates unless there is a recall.
Honda isn't going to lie to you like Tesla does and say the car can safely drive itself. ACC, LKA, and the emergency braking are great safety features, but that is all. We are still a long way away from completely automated cars...
I went to a dealer in NE San Antonio today for service and saw they had three Type-Rs on the floor. All three were listed for just below $50k! I asked a salesman why they had three and said they must not be selling. He said they were selling just fine. They had dust on them, so I think that's a...
I doubt there is anything you can buy since the remote start is only on the fob.
You could put your spare fob in some type of rig that uses solenoids to press the buttons on demand from a smart device. :dunno:
A Raspberry Pi could handle that.
How? I have touched 36.6 mpg for one tank in a Sport Touring, even with many tanks of 100% highway. Are you hypermiling? How does a Si get better gas mileage than a Sport Touring?
Are some of you basing your mileage off the trip computer? I am doing fuel in / miles driven for my MPG and am...
Ok. Insurance fraud is a crime and raises the rates for honest customers. If you have a race car, buy the proper insurance or be honest about how you broke your car.
Or, you can just be a liar. Whatever makes you happy. Some of us value our integrity more than a few hundred dollars worth of car...
Look at the driver side door jam for the load sticker. All cars have this sticker. The Civic is supposed to be 35psi front, 32psi rear if I remember correctly.
That is close enough for a boosted signal from your car to reach the fob and for the fob to unlock the car.
If I parked my car outside at night I would keep my fob (pull the battery from the spare one) in a faraday sleeve or box...
Bull. You are either committing insurance fraud or you are lying. A normal policy will not cover damage caused by racing your car on a track.
Don't let the "sport" fool you. You do not own a sports car or a race car. The Civic is a compact economy car and does not belong on a track.
I noticed...
Cool. I have no debt and a pretty decent household income that we save 2/3rds of. I must be a financial idiot! You probably have a financed Type-R. You win.
Extended warranties are generally not worth it. The dealers make a ton of money on them and people rarely use them. Even when people try to use them, the terms are so strict that many things that the salesman says will be covered, aren't.
Why do you expect so much to go wrong with your car? I...
