Have an White LX...and couldnt be happier. As far as the Mazda comment goes....mazda are crap...owned by FORD...I have a 2006 Mazda MPV with nothing but problems. ZERO issues with the civic! That being said, I did make sure that mine was not part of the recall before buying. And I was 100%...
All said and done I was all in for $23000 and that's Canadian! (that's like $17000 USD). Compared to $34000 for the Accord Sport...it was an easy decision.
It is after market tint...20% all around...$250. Tint is definitely needed...really changes the look. The rims are brand new 2015 Civic si rims which I got for only $500 for all 4. I still can't believe I bought a white car but more unbelievable is that I never considered the colour...
I never...and I mean never would have picked white but the more I looked at it the more I liked it. I always preferred black...but dark colours are a maintenance nightmare...they show all scratches, dings and stone chips like crazy. Plus the white with the black interior and accents looks...
Here's my white civic...just picked it up...sooooooo glad I got white...never thought I'd buy a white car....now that I got it, I can't see myself with anything else
To be honest there is very little space between my front calipers and the rim...no rubbing thank the big guy upstairs...but very very close...this gap should get bigger as the pad wear...when time to replace I will put the thinnest best quality pads available.
No rubbing but the back of the rim spoke is very close the caliper in the front. The offset is 47mm but the issue is how the spoke comes back. The space should increase as the pads wear...when it comes time to replace the pads I will get the thinnest good quality pads available.
