  2. Show me your aftermarket shift knob

Very excited for this...releasing this week!
  3. True 3" exhaust system for the Civic Type R (FK8)

I'm not going to say yes or no but it does have some similar tones. We plan to have some teaser sounds clips out in the near future. We are confident we have the side branch resonators dialed in now and will be posting a new design blog very soon.
  4. True 3" exhaust system for the Civic Type R (FK8)

Currently just the Whiteline Springs and rear helper bags inside the springs for road trips with lots of gear in the back. We really love the springs, they are not overly stiff, set a good ride height, and maintain the proper front/rear frequency balance which directly effects how the car...
  5. True 3" exhaust system for the Civic Type R (FK8)

That is exactly why we are taking the time and design effort to create an exhaust we believe everyone can absolutely love. This carry's through from the content/information we provide, the interactions on social media/phones/email, packaging, mobile friendly color step-by-step instructions and...
  6. 27WON - Designing the L15 Turbo Inlet Pipe

We'll have some updates on the Turbo Inlet Pipe and the processes of development coming out soon! Hang Tight!
  7. Exhaust and catless combo without rice-y sound

Sorry to hear the tortilla tore on your burrito...maybe we can offer you a better tortilla? haha Some of the issues you mentioned are on point and we've been working on solutions to resolve them. With the largest diameter exhaust to be offered we are certainly seeing the true nature of the...
  8. True 3" exhaust system for the Civic Type R (FK8)

Here's a quick pic of the front-pipe connection where you are typically seeing the bottle neck in other exhausts. To avoid the bottle neck we integrated the front-pipe into the design and maintained the simplicity of a 3.5" V-band connection like the other connections in the 27WON exhaust...
  9. 27WON - Designing the L15 Turbo Inlet Pipe

Thats a great question, but not one we can accurately answer. The ID of the MAF housing is the major factor for the proper tune so we would need to know the exact ID of the PRL Race MAF to answer this.
  10. 27won shift knob update?

We will be provided a SS lock nut (maybe this is what you are referring to?) that the boot locks onto. Our design will be used on both the Type R and non-Type R Models.
  11. 27WON - Designing the L15 Turbo Inlet Pipe

Quick Update Things are moving forward and we expect to have a cast functional prototype in the coming months. We are also working on a Race MAF option to better support the Turbo Inlet Pipe. Who would be interested in a Race MAF upgrade for their current 27WON CAI?
  12. 27Won Turbo Report Cards?

Gents, We love the enthusiasm but we are not planning to offer a different CHRA wither BB or different wheels for the W1, atleast not in the foreseeable future. So don't wait...get the turbo and have a hell of a time.
  13. Installing 27Won Downpipe Problems

@ne0guri apologies that this caused some issues for you during install. I just reviewed our installation instructions and found that we don't have any instruction about that OEM DP studs. We'll be getting those updated so this is not an issue again for anyone else and we'll look into adding...

  15. 27WON - Designing the L15 Turbo Inlet Pipe

Significantly larger ;) That's a great question and I appreciate you taking a different perspective. This is a very involved project and one that take significant resources to develop. Enough resources that we could develop a few other products with relatively same amount of resources as...
  16. Downpipe + Frontpipe or Catback Exhaust System

    1) I would say it is a significant difference, but in the right way. Its not like going from stock exhaust to a DIY straight pipe setup. It adds volume, growl, some burbles between shifts but is fairly mellow when easy on the throttle. 2) SI to Hatchback is very very similar. It follows the...
  17. 27WON - Designing the L15 Turbo Inlet Pipe

Nice Find! The change in Inner Diameter for their Inlet Pipe was pretty minimal. Our target change is much more drastic so it will be interesting to see what we can get out of it.
  18. 27WON - Testing the OE Turbo Inlet Pipe

I can see your logic here, but I can also state that nearly any way to reduce pressure delta from air filter to compressor inlet will help the turbo despite the size. Its hard to say how much the turbo inlet pipe will benefit the stock turbo, but if paired with a "race" MAF (which is just a MAF...
  19. Downpipe + Frontpipe or Catback Exhaust System

From our experience the DP/FP with the stock exhaust will provide some added note and volume, but the sound is not very pleasing. It would certainly not be our first choice no matter what DP/FP choice you go with. Then there are two options when considering the "cat-back" or "front-pipe back"...
  20. 27WON vs Willwood BBK

I saw your comment about weight and wanted to comment. Not sure about other BBKs on the market, but the 27WON BBK is ~22% than the OE front braking system. You can check out the details here https://www.27won.com/blog/the-big-brake-kit-for-honda-civic-part-1?rq=brake Reducing unsprung and...
