Perhaps that was their goal. For some reason, they have decided that 10th gen will be be "youthful looking", 11th gen will be "bland". I don't know why. Perhaps their market research gave them indications that this will maximize their profits? For example, few people will sell their 10th gen to...
Do you plan to upgrade to the 11th gen Civic?
If yes, why?
If no, why not? What would you like to see in a future model to make you want to upgrade?
Myself, I don't see any good reason to upgrade. The only great thing is the new 9 inch head unit in the 2022 Touring. I wish I could upgrade...
Over a span of 20 years, what is cheaper if we take into account all car-related expenses (including insurance and maintenance):
1. Buy a new Civic and hold it for 20 years, taking good care of it.
2. Buy a used Civic, hold it for 10 years, and then buy another used Civic for 10 more years.

Well, it is an option, you know? You don't have to use every option every day - but it's great to have it. I didn't know I needed Adaptive Cruise Control, either... before actually using it and realizing how useful it is, especially when I am tired. I now believe that the only real improvement...

My Civic is 2 years old now, and I am still very happy with it. No problems at all. I plan to keep the car for 10+ years.
The feature I like most is the adaptive cruise control (ACC). My previous cars did not have that. It is really useful on the california freeways.
Two years ago, when I...
Yes, you are right.
In recent years, this is also the formal recommendation by most traffic schools. For example here is AAA:

You don't want to turn the ACC off.
Adaptive Cruise Control is one of the best features of this car. Turning it off will just make it a regular plain old Cruise Control. Why would anyone want to do that?
