Not exposed to sun and cold and wrap in black garbage bag if you can. In the summer it can probably just sit in a stack in your garage.
Between season I'd actually take them into the heated portion of the place, if you live in a place with winter.
oh interesting. So not even +R.
The previous test I did on the matter from way back when(the before time), was on smooth asphalt, though not really sealed I don't think. As mentioned it was pretty pronounced with +R and hold ESC-off was borderline undriveable. And pedal danced was fine. I guess...
Man I don't remember how to do a lot of things. At least even on the old tires I think if we remember how to drive better I think we can get closer. Steve/Alex/Alan all put on quite a showing. I'll just let you guys figure out the tires to use and buy them when I am going back to autoX more often...
I still won't recommend mine to anyone....but I think if I were to do it again to add a resonator in my middle section thats still stainless would make it a lot less annoying....
Because I haven't autocrossed at all for more than a year the stock rear section is on the car and the aluminum...
As noted earlier its mainly the brake torque vectoring or whatever Honda calls it that makes a difference to me in the wet by using pedal dance. It makes the car a lot less nervous as it doesn't try to grab rear brake to "help" turn in. In the dry I using +R and hold doesn't seem to be any issue.
From other Street Class car's use case with it liking more wheel width and camber I wonder if it works well to be pinched....
BFG definitely sucked running that wide on this car.
With me buying a house this year it seems less and less likely I'd go out and run an actual season so I probably...
To me, most of the time the problem is if you had the car on jack stand or something and you can get under it you can get ok leverage(still not great) since you can get least get 90 some amount of torque to the nut. If you are just changing bar setting without the car up or on a 2 post lift to...
I think when I first got it on the car I've had that problem but then I just really crank on the nuts and I haven't had too much issue. I notice it being loose pretty quickly since it starts to clunk if its not tight....um, more so...
Up in MI I definitely don't have it on the car right...
IIRC there are no independent rear camber adjustment stock...you get what you get once you set the rear toe...
And you don't need to mess with alignment at all with a rear bar install.
Wow those look pretty pinchy...I feel like maybe even pinchier than the Rival S was...
I'd be curious to know how they drive. We had pretty notable difference to REs in time and feel...
Don't take my words too seriously as I haven't had too many miles autocrossing recently. I don't think I've had anything but factory rear alignment on the car and the car is plenty pointy in most cases running middle-soft setting on the Karcepts bar. So I don't feel to have too much incentive to...
No idea how much autoX I'd be doing this year after having done none last year. But with RE71R going away I'd be interested to see what the new tires to have will be...
If I plan to do more events this year I might work on doing some kind of test between Falken and probably the Yokohama. Not...
