  1. 16 Civic AC Not Working

Hey guys, please give me your opinion: I have a 2018 Civic Si Coupe in Energy Pearl Green. I had the condenser replaced under warranty about a week ago and my AC is working great again. Here is the thing, I paid my car off in October 2019 and the only issues I have had is outgoing calls are...
  2. Left Zone environmental controls do not appear to be working

Looks like no one was able to help. However, to those who want to know, the problem was that the AC condenser was leaking and has been replaced under an extended Honda warranty. That is an issue with almost all the 10th Gen Civic's so, if you are having the same issues, get your car fixed ASAP!
  3. Left Zone environmental controls do not appear to be working

Original thread: https://www.civicx.com/forum/threads/left-zone-environmental-controls-do-not-appear-to-be-working.64004/ Any ideas? Blown fuse or stuck door maybe? Bad motor for the door? Help is appreciated.
  4. Left Zone environmental controls do not appear to be working

Ok, I have a 2018 Civic Si Coupe and enjoy the car very much. However, at least in the last month, the driver side / left side environmental control do not appear to be working. For instance, AC is coming out of the right side but at all out of the left. I was told by a friend that it might be a...
  5. Badly damaged my left front rim but the tire is ok, any where I can buy another?

The impact did some damage that probably is not repairable. I will post a pic a little later, thanks. Edit: Here is the picture.
  6. Considering 2.0 6M sedan or SI

It is a slower car than the Si, that is pure fact. Now mind you, slower does not mean slow but, it is not faster than the Si, either.
  7. Badly damaged my left front rim but the tire is ok, any where I can buy another?

I was driving and was distracted (No, not a phone) and hit my left front rim into a short concrete midsection in the road. The actual rim is functional and the tire is completely undamaged. Now, however, I need to buy the one rim to replace it and a quick look at ebay was not promising. Any...
  8. Big Insurance Drop!

So, if I have an Si from 2018, it sounds like looking into progressive might make no difference? My rates have been slowly creeping up, now $100 a month, and I am sick of it. (No reason to creep up either, that I know of.) I live in Western New York and not in Buffalo. (Geico is what I have...
  9. What did you drive before your 10th Gen Civic?

Which, I admit, frustrates me no end. I have to admit that the Dart is probably the best looking car to come out if the last 10 years but, all looks and no substance is useless. :)
  10. What did you drive before your 10th Gen Civic?

2015 Dodge Dart. To be honest, I would probably still be driving it, since I had paid it off, if it were not for the electrical problems galore that it had. (The main body wiring harness was damaged out of the factory and needed to be replaced.) It was out of warranty and Chrysler gave me the...
  11. Should Honda have kept VTEC engines in Civics or is the 1.5T a welcome change?

You clearly have not been to Buffalo, NY. :D Mass Transit here is archaic, at best, and will not ever improve. (See the train to nowhere.)
  12. .

Well, I was going to ask if you opened the hood and made sure the check if the engine is still there. :D
  13. From a 2018 Civic Si Coupe to a 2020 Civic Sport Sedan with 6MT

Or perhaps open your own thread if you want to debate all that stuff. I only opened the thread for the original purpose.
  14. From a 2018 Civic Si Coupe to a 2020 Civic Sport Sedan with 6MT

Well, I am about to go over 40K Miles and so far, so good. (I do change the oil every 5K miles or so, however.)
  15. From a 2018 Civic Si Coupe to a 2020 Civic Sport Sedan with 6MT

Definitely longer than any Chrysler engine I ever owned in the past. :D Sure, their cars look good but, all looks and no substance, when it came to reliability. I have to try to die the cross threaded wheel stud on the left front this weekend. I have a friend who is going to help me so, there...
  16. From a 2018 Civic Si Coupe to a 2020 Civic Sport Sedan with 6MT

Turbo's themselves are known to not last as long, overall. (More moving parts which means greater wear and tear.) Also, the 1.5T has known fuel dilution issues that, even if you only experience that in some minor fashion, will still cause the wear and tear to increase, over the long haul.
  17. These Civics Are Pretty Light, But Still, Always Use Jackstands

Never, ever work under a car with just a jack, that is just plan suicidal.
  18. From a 2018 Civic Si Coupe to a 2020 Civic Sport Sedan with 6MT

Not going to do it now. However, some day in the future, when I need another car, I will keep this in mind. I can literally go down to the end of my street and see Canada only 6 miles away. :)
  19. What did you do to your Civic today? (II)

I will not have them to early September but, I will. :)
