I assumed it was vinyl too, but he didn’t feel comfortable removing it so I didn’t press it. I used my fingernail to scrape a piece off, came off pretty easily so idk.

Mine also came with a pinstripe from the dealer. I tried to have it removed and was told it’s painted on. So mine is staying put lol. I’ve had the car a month so it’s still fairly fresh, but I wouldn’t dare try taking it off myself.

I have an appointment next week to get some things done: chrome window trim delete, pinstripe and civic/sport badge removal (don't trust myself to do it). I'm torn between having the H emblems wrapped in the same black that the chrome trim will be wrapped in, or just buying the black chrome ones...

Thank you! Not to mention, the sport hatch had the LX radio, terrible cloth interior, and no Honda sensing to name a few. Great car and fun to drive but I gained a lot more features with the sedan. Both models had its drawbacks.

Wasn’t a downgrade for me, my sport was in an accident but thanks for your opinion.

I went from a ‘18 sport hatch (basically LX) to a ‘19 sport sedan and I’m very happy with the change. I also looked at the EX but didn’t care for the moonroof or lane watch so it wasn’t worth spending the extra money.

Is your HB a sport? My brother has the HB (non-sport) and his steering was looser than mine. It could change over time though like you said. I feel a small difference between the 2.0 and 1.5 turbo but not enough to deter me from trading lol.

I loved my hatch, it’s such a fun car to drive but the dealership offered me a decent amount on my trade so I let it go. It was in a small fender bender which was the main reason for the trade. Also, it didn’t have all the bells and whistles that the sedan has. I just couldn’t live with the LX...

Lol! Yeah it’s pretty tacky. It came on the car but I was more concerned with the tint at the time.

Traded my ‘18 sport hatch for a ‘19 sport sedan, got the windows tinted today. Next up is smoked or clear side markers, still trying to decide. Also on the fence about deleting the chrome.

The bumper and parts of the hatch had to be replaced, was around 3k (labor was a big part of that). I was actually out of town visiting family when it happened, so it was a huge pain in the ass. I actually have to return to the shop who did the work because the glass work that was done looks...
