I brought my car in today for an oil change and told them about all the problems I have been having with the system, especially the skipping/studdering of music when played through the Bluetooth. They told me I needed to bring it in during the week because they need to contact Honda tech support.
Wouldn't the dealership notify everyone who bought the 1.5 turbo? If not, why not? When there is a recall everyone is notified so a software update should be the same. If I don't hear from them I will bring it up when I get the oil changed, and ask then why I was not called and notified.
Took mine in this morning, have 5010 miles on it, oil life is at 60% and I did not need an oil change yet. I was told to wait until the oil life is at 15%, which could be around 9000 miles.
Mine did the same thing last week. I rebooted the system. Press the audio on/off button for about five seconds or so, it will ask you to rebook. After I did that, I was able to turn on and off.
When I play music on my phone using the USB, it works fine. When playing music using Bluetooth, each song skips at the very beginning. The dealer said it was my phone, I can not confirm as I will need to get a new phone to see if it still does it.
I'm 50, have the 2016 Civic EX-L with navigation. Traded in a 2014 Elantra. One look and test drive, I had to have the car, right off the showroom floor.
Just happened to me yesterday. I had the system turned off and when I started the car I tried to turn it on, it did not work. I drove it straight to the dealership and they had to reboot the whole system and I mean everything to get it to work. Honda tech was closed yesterday and that was the...
I also have a rattling noise, front passenger side. It seems to be coming from the dashboard. It only happens after I have been driving for about a half hour. I think I need to take it in for service.
