I agree with a lot of things here, especially the easily chipped paint, but the one issue that drives me INSANE is the persistent buzzing in my headliner directly above the driver's seat.
I've been having a similar issue, with my vehicle taking 30-40 mins of continuous driving to get fully warm, and that's WITH my using a block heater. If I so much as idle at a stoplight the thermostat drops immediately. That being said I had the work done right before two straight weeks of -25 C...
I've recently noticed that when I walk away from my vehicle, the proximity sensor 'chirp' only sounds from the rear. I could swear that the 'chirp' always sounded from both the front and rear of my car. It's driving me nuts, less so the issue itself than, "Am I remembering wrong?" Would anyone...
Now that its winter, and I'm warming my car up in the morning, a couple of things:
1) The remote starter is fairly weak. I park no more than 30 feet from the front of my house, but half the time it won't work through the window, I have to open my front door to get the car to start.
2) It boggles...
I am having the exact same issue! Bought my car 3 months ago, have had zero issues with AA. Went to get a coffee this morning, worked fine. Plugged my phone in after coffee, not working. Reinstalled AA, no dice. I'm using the original charging cable that came with my phone. This is driving me...
If anything, my brake hold takes a little too long to come on. I'd say it's near 1/2 second after a complete stop before it comes on. Which I've gotten used to, but I came awfully close to a couple of rear bumpers before I figured out the timing.
you wasted your time with all the glaze, seal, snake oil bullshit. Just claybar then wax.Everything else is nonsense.
I think you're probably right re: the glaze, but I think the Jet Seal was worth the time.
I'm getting what I think is terrible mileage in my sport hatch, compared to what I've seen others claim: 9L/100km, or roughly 26 MPG, ECON mode always on, mostly driving like an old man. That being said I only have about 1200km/850 miles on my car and I do mostly short trip city driving, and I'm...
Wow. I had no idea that was even an option. I'm definitely going to get that done, because mine is starting to get micro scratches and I've also heard mixed reviews about the ones on Amazon. I wonder if they can 3M the black shifter surround lol?
I can finally post in this thread! Over the past week:
1. Wash, clay bar, glaze (Black Light), seal (Jet Seal), wax (Pete's 53). I might be a sucker for good advertising but I'm quite happy with Chemical Guys detailing products. All done by hand and took me 20 hours over 2 days, but it was...
I've had my hatchback for a month now, and so far my biggest issues are:
1. Radio turns off with ignition. Yes, I know about accessory mode, but the extra step is irritating. Honorable mention for not being able to leave the car running and lock the door, which is going to drive me insane come...
I'd like to swap out the "H" badges on my hatchback. I'm trying to figure out how to access the pins on the rear badge in particular, in order to secure the badge with the OEM clips.
Price is in US dollars. I'm kind of embarrassed to admit, with shipping I paid $200 CAD. That being said they seem to be good quality, I REALLY wanted black badges, and I don't like the way dipped ones look.
Hi all, just received my black chrome "H" badges from HeelToe. The front badge came with double-sided tape, and I assume it's a simple as removing the old one and sticking on the new. The rear, however, has no tape but did come with the rings that attach to the rear of the pins. Is it worth...
