I use 90 octane Ethanol-Free which they don't go above that grade anymore and it ethanol-free too which does not have all that bull in it.
  2. 2017 Type R w/38k+ Miles

That would be fine if they were still making them. I talked to Honda in Japan and USA and they said they have no plans of continuing them past the 2018 model that was already made by the way the end of 2017. If you heard something different please share.
  3. 2019 Civic Type R

There is not going to be a 2019 Type R. I don't know why everyone thinks now that the car finally arrived here in the Usa 2 years ago that Honda is going to keep making that model now, won't happen I can tell you that much and if they do make a batch of them again it will be a few years from...
  4. 2017 Civic Type R rated at 22/28/25 MPG

I purchased a new 17 white Honda Type R and have been driving it like a granny getting into 6th gear very quick, don't rev between gear shifting and 60 mph only when permitted and I have been using ethanol-free 90 octane which is the same as premium here in SC now being they taken the 93 octane...

I just ordered this drop-in fiter from K&N and installed it and can't believe the performance of the car now! It is alive now where before the filter it was just ok! I too am with you on the horse power. I have a Touring and I have the 16 Civic LX Sedan 6 speed and I love my 2.0 6 speed. I get 44-47 mpg city/highway even with the ac all the time. 7. Poll: 2017 Owners : Manual or CVT?

I will not get the Type R if it is not at least 310 HP and the 2.0 or 2.4. If Honda installs a 1.5 in the Type R which would not be right then they lost me!

  12. Poll: 2017 Owners : Manual or CVT?

I would get the 17 Si and you will have everything you need, however get the Touring Si that way you get the LED headlights and you wont have to go to TRFS and purchase a 55 Watt Hid system for the projector on the non-Touring version that is, Just my 2 cents!
  13. 2016 Touring vs 2017 Touring

There is no difference at all in a 16 vs 17 model regarding the cvt. The cars are 100% the same and no difference in the cvt!
  14. 2016 Touring vs 2017 Touring

$24K out the door not $25K. I really wanted it in the 6 speed manual however you can get the ex-t in the manual with or without sensing! Or I might just wait for the 17 Si coming out soon. Also We are going to purchase a Type R when they are released as long as they have the 2.0 with at least...
  15. 2016 Touring vs 2017 Touring

I don't understand how we got that price either. I told the dealership that I could go through the Costco car buying program that some other Honda Dealership's offer and the price was around $24K and they said they would beat that price, and they did for us. I knew when they gave us this price...
  16. 2016 Touring vs 2017 Touring

We purchased a Touring Sedan Civic for $23K and $1000.00 more for dealer fee, taxes, and registration! I think we stole the car at this price because many people don't get them below $25K. We got $4365.00 off of sticker price.
