It looks like it does keep the radio. Says just replace the TFT. Says only exchange your original car TFT monitor, keep all the factory functions, maintain your original Car Radio and Amplifier function. I was hoping to hear from someone that actually has installed it but that no one has.

It should be able to dim with the interior dash lights dimmer switch. I’d be surprised if it didn’t.

Most people lost it. Joying will never have a fix for this as it’s an aftermarket radio. The only way to keep all your original stuff would be somehow to use a tea harness to connect this radio and keep the original radio plugged in somewhere behind the dash or in the glove box.I’ve given up on...

So correct me if I am wrong, it looks to me that labelled A3 Illumi+ plus going to the tail light relay would just require a 12 V source to function. But it’s likely also taking some sort of signal from the head unit and due to the fact they are mismatched it will likely never work correctly...
