Wow, I’m surprised how many responses this has gathered. I ended up complaining to corporate and got a Honda card with the amount of the repairs on it. If I have another issue with it and Honda tries to make me pay for it again I’m selling my civic and never coming back to Honda.

Many issues with forum members having a leaky condenser or “sustaining road damage”. Don’t let the dealership try to tell you it’s road damage and not covered under warranty. There is definitely an issue with the AC system in the 2016+ civics

Complain to Honda about this! I mentioned to corporate that my dealer told me to modify the grille to add protection. They advised against doing this. I told them they need to pay my condenser repair bill...we shall see.

I recently had my condenser replaced by my Honda dealership, which was $1,000 btw! I just noticed today that this plastic piece in the link below has popped up. I tried applying some pressure to it, but it will not move. I don’t want to force it and break something the dealership messed up...
