  1. Type R Front Spoiler installation pics

I’m replacing a damaged spoiler when the weather warms up. Trying to decide if I can do this off the ground or need to jack the front end up.
  2. Type R Front Spoiler installation pics

Hey, Anyone have a write up or actual images of the clip and bolt locations to replace the front lip valence? I found some threads but it only had the exploded drawing. If you have the car on a lift, maybe you can provide some images?
  3. Michigan Sold: WTB Type R OEM front valence splitter part# 71102-TGH-A10

PM me if you have one for sale. Need to replace mine that was damaged
  4. If you were going to sell your Type R for an SUV, which would you consider?

You are in CA? I would definitely go EV. I have a new SUV and I love the safety tech with semi autonomous driver assistance. It makes me want to buy a Tesla with auto drive. My next vehicle will be either be a Hyundai Ioniq 5 or Tesla Cyber truck.
  5. New York FK8 Parts for sale- Aftermarket + OEM

Send me some pictures of the tires with tread depth remaining. PM me. 48312 zip code is the shipping location.
  6. Is the New Acura Integra Just a si?

Integra will be built off the civic platform. Two door vehicles are dead. I wouldn’t hold my breath. I would expect a smaller version of the TLX. Honda was successful luring in young buyers with the aggressive civic 10th gen. Acura most likely will try to follow that success.
  7. Is it worth $5K to upgrade to 2021 from 2018 w/ 10K??

Pros about the CTR- 2018 model is perfect in my opinion. 2021 has no major upgrade worth adding another 5k plus interest? 10k miles is still new in my opinion. I’m waiting for the warranty to end and my Continentals to need replacement to upgrade the power and add Michelin Pilot 4s tires...
  8. Need help deciding my purchase option

I would fly to your destination and drive the car back. The CTR everywhere in the northeast region is MSRP.
  9. Bumper gap?

That is a designed in gap to reduce damage to the hood if you have a low speed, front impact.
  10. Cross shopping with Veloster N

This is a tough one but it makes sense.
  11. Cross shopping with Veloster N

Honestly, you can’t expect your wife to like the CTR styling. That’s why I would push for the RS. It’s has subdued styling and is a special car. Will never be sold again in the US.
  12. Cross shopping with Veloster N

The CTR 2017 MSRP was reasonable. In 2021 it’s too high for its performance. That said, the Veloster N is a better deal with a similar fun factor. Now because fwd is limited regardless of the power, I would go after a used Mustang GT or Focus RS. Power is more fun, more usable in the real world.
  13. 2020 Type R Owners Who Have Upgraded from a 2017-2019

Unless you break even for the upgrade, I can’t see a good reason to make the change. The 2020 car has minor improvements only. If you have the money and need something for yourself, go buy something that will stay with you for a lifetime.
  14. Are you happy with the color of your CTR?

I initially chose black to temper the styling. I later switched to CW after seeing an old video of the NSX Type R. That sealed deal. I love the CW color. It can vary from bright white to a yellowish hue depending upon the lighting conditions.
  15. Why didn't Honda tune the stock configuration to give us more power?

Agree! The great aspect of the Type R is being able to floor it (for a short time) without fear of the car losing control.
  16. NEW CTR - Dirt under the Clear Coat?

I would just leave it. I doubt they would take off the side skirt to re paint. If you want to see how good Honda’s paint quality really is, look at the ends of the fascia around the wheel well. Paint run off all over the place. This may change your mind about this defect being okay.
